Waychest is a PvE semi vanilla SMP that feels like one giant shared survival world.
When you join you start a Journey. It is like your own little server inside the big world. You get a random spawn and you can play alone or with friends. Each Journey has its own progress and its own spawn so it feels personal but still connected.
As you explore you find special Waychests. These chests reach across the world to other Journeys. They give rewards and also guide you toward places other players have built. Later when you are stronger you can craft your own Waychests so new players can discover your builds too.
There is also a flying minigame that uses Elytra. You gather the ingredients then you fly through rings that lead you to a Waychest made by another player. There are discovery based warps too so you can fast travel between certain blocks after you find them first.
The server runs on Java version 1.21.11 and mostly keeps a vanilla feel. Almost every custom thing like Journeys and Waychests is built just for this server. It is PvE so the focus is exploring and building together instead of fighting other players.

Blue Hat SMP is a cracked survival server where you can just hop in and play with your friends.
You can join with cracked accounts and with official accounts so pretty much anyone can get on. The server is online all the time so you do not have to wait for the owner to log in.
The rules are simple. You can do whatever you want as long as you are not cheating. That means no hacks and no unfair stuff but you still have a lot of freedom to play your own way.
The community feels active and there are people around to talk to and play with. It looks like a chill place if you just want to survive build and hang out with others on an SMP world.

This is a small modded SMP that is opening on February 2nd and it is looking for more players who want to stick around for a long time. The owner really wants active people who like to hang out and just play together.

This server is called All Outta Blocks SMP and it is made to feel like a big friend group. It is for players who like a Hermitcraft style survival world with a lot of focus on community.
There are usually around 10 to 25 people online and there are way more active members overall so it never feels empty. People build together work on public projects and they also like to play other games together outside of Minecraft.
The world is survival and has a diamond based economy. There is a shopping district and public builds and everyone can start their own projects. Most players use proximity chat so talking to people feels natural and funny as you walk around.
There are homes and player warps and a few cosmetic qol and fun plugins. New plugins are chosen through community requests and polls so the players help decide what gets added.

Near Vanilla is a semi vanilla survival server that has been running for years and it feels really stable and cozy. The world is on hard difficulty and the players like to build collect and explore together. There are big group projects and fun player competitions and a busy shopping district so it feels like a small Minecraft town.

This is a survival server called Banana Sandwich SMP and it is on Season 3 with a fresh wipe so the world is still new and people are just getting started.
The server is Hermitcraft inspired and feels like a Vanilla plus style. It is not super modded but has quality of life stuff like mob heads and armor stand editing. There is also simple voice chat and proximity voice chat is required so people actually talk instead of only typing.
Everyone started on a big Mushroom Island where the main hub is. Shops are starting to open and bases are being built so the economy is just beginning. The server uses diamonds as currency so you can make a shop early and try to become one of the rich players.
