The server feels semi anarchic so you can mostly do whatever you want but it also has some limits near spawn like stopping lava casting and blocking wither spawns to help keep the area from getting totally wrecked.
There are custom features that make the world feel more alive like stat leaderboards and player heads dropping on death. If you die there is also a way to pass your enderchest to someone which is kind of wild. You can also disable phantoms.
