    I found a new SMP called Overstressed and it is doing a big launch on February 22nd at 3PM GMT.

    It has a custom questline with over 250 quests so you always have stuff to do. There is a player run economy with shops plus a currency system so trading feels like a real thing.

    The staff made a massive spawn that is meant to be explored. When you leave spawn you can choose your path like taking a bridge to town or going down into the forest. There is also a road network that connects places and they even give starter spurs so you can get a horse and start traveling.

    LegionCraft is a OneBlock server where you build up your island and keep expanding your world.

    The big thing here is challenging bosses. When you beat them they can drop keys that you use for rare loot.

    There are crates with epic gear and rewards so you always have something to grind for. You can also use chunk hoppers to automate your island.

    It is also listed as no pay to win so it is meant to feel fair while you build grind fight and loot.

    I found a hardcore vanilla SMP that is meant to be simple and not scripted. It also supports cracked Minecraft.

    This server is hardcore so dying matters and the world is just normal vanilla. There is no farlands stuff here.

    It has a join and play setup with no application. The play style is basically no rules so people can grief bases and kill anyone.

    They also said there are only three maces on the server so everyone is going to fight for them. The goal is to hit 100 members by the start of summer and have an active positive community.

    LegacyMC is a vanilla survival server with full anarchy vibes. It is a raw open world where players decide everything. There are no rules and there is no land protection.

    I saw that it has no pay to win and no monetisation stuff. Donations are not required and they say they will never ask for them. There are also no gameplay changing plugins.

    The world does not reset and it has been running since June 2025. PvP is on and griefing and raiding are allowed. There is no teleporting and no admin interference so whatever happens stays part of the story.

    It is hosted on dedicated hardware in Australia which is meant to keep it smooth for Australia and New Zealand players. Anyone can join since there is no whitelist and no applications.
