Andromeda is a semi hardcore modded Minecraft server that is all about making your own character and roleplaying with other people. It is a 16+ server and it is whitelisted so you have to apply first and explain your character and what you want to do.
The setting starts in Corsicana which is a small coastal town that lives off trade. It is the only known town on a huge unexplored land and people follow a strange trail of stars to reach it. From there you can go explore and help shape the bigger story.
The roleplay is civilization style so players can become leaders explorers farmers builders and more. People make factions businesses industry and an economy while they chase their character goals.
Gameplay uses a three lives system so each character only gets three lives. If you lose all your hearts you can enter a downed state with a 5 minute timer and other players can rescue you. I found a Minecraft server that is dealing with a lot of lag and it sounds super frustrating. The owner keeps tweaking and trying to optimize it but it still lags no matter what.
