This is a server called Rattata SMP and it is made to feel really close to normal Minecraft. It is run on paper and lets both java and bedrock players join. The world is set to hard so it is not super easy and you kind of have to know what you are doing.
The community is 18 plus and it started as a group of friends. Now they are looking for more people who just want to play survival and hang out. It feels calm and mature and you can tell they care about having a chill group instead of chaos.
The rules are very simple. Do not grief and use common sense. There are no teleports no custom loot and no fancy world generation. It is just basic vanilla survival. There is a live map you can look at and only a third of the players online need to sleep to skip the night.
The server uses a whitelist so you have to apply before you can join. Once you get in you can build with others and be part of a small survival community instead of a giant random server.

Crown SMP is a semi vanilla hard mode world where you can choose how you want to play.
You can play as a normal survival player with pvp and all that or you can declare yourself peaceful. If you are peaceful then people are not allowed to steal from you or grief you. The rules for this are explained better on the server.
The world has a 4k by 4k border and it uses tectonic and terralith terrain that is already preloaded so exploring feels really cool. There is one player sleep so nights go by fast.
The server has some small changes that make it more fun. Minecarts go super fast with the new physics. You can sit on stairs. Enderman and ghast griefing is turned off and phantoms are disabled. Ender pearls are disabled too.
Spawners and amethyst buds can be picked up with silk touch so you can move them around. The server runs on purpur software and everything still feels close to vanilla.
Overall it feels like a chill survival world where you can either fight and mess around or stay peaceful and build in safety.

Cozyvale is a new 18 plus Minecraft server that is trying to stay really close to vanilla but still feel nice to play.
From what I saw the world is survival and the owners are just a group of friends. They added a few small quality of life things like only 40 percent of players need to sleep. Leaves decay faster so you are not just staring at trees. There is a simple voice mod and a dynmap so you can see the world.
They also have stuff like re dyeable dyed blocks and player and mob head drops. You can use cauldrons to make concrete and mob grief is reduced so your builds are a bit safer.
The server is only for adults and it is meant to be a cozy relaxed community. There is no teleport and no pay to win so people are supposed to play fair and legit. If you want a simple survival world with a small chill group this server is aiming for that.

New Dawn SMP is a vanilla plus survival server that feels like a chill Hermit style world. It is all about building cool stuff and working together with other players.
The server is focused on creativity and collaboration. Your builds actually matter here and players help shape how the world grows. People team up on projects and the community is meant to be driven by the players themselves.
This server is looking for players who are 16 or older. It supports both Java and Bedrock crossplay so you can join from either edition.

AvalonEarth is a Minecraft server that runs on a big Earth map that is scaled 1 to 500. There is a lot of space so players can make their own nations and spread out.
The server uses Towny so towns and nations are a huge part of the gameplay. Anyone can start a nation because the server gives starter money. You do not have to grind for hours just to begin or meet some weird player requirement.
This is the second season of the server. The first one started in September and it built a really strong community. The new season is already active and a lot of new players have joined.
If you like conflict and wars this server has lots of them. Nations fight and there is a ton of action. If you do not like war you can still live a peaceful life and try to avoid fights.
The main ways to make money are jobs farming and fishing. The owner says more money making methods are being added soon.
Overall it feels like an earth SMP and geopolitics server where players create towns start nations go to war or stay peaceful and just play how they want.
