This is a vanilla Minecraft server that tries to stay close to the original game. It mixes survival with a semi anarchy style so players have a lot of freedom but there are still some rules.
The world has been running for over four years so you can find all kinds of old bases roads and weird builds. Spawn is totally wrecked and covered in lavacasts so when you first join you have to escape a maze of grief before you can really start playing.
After you get away from spawn you can explore build bases or work on big projects. You might run into other players out in the wild so you can make allies or enemies and see what happens.
The rules focus mostly on keeping the server fair and running well. Cheaters get banned fast and the staff works to keep performance good while still letting people play in a pretty chaotic way.

This server is called Ordinary SMP but it actually feels pretty special. It is a vanilla Java survival world that is always updated and right now it is on version 1.21.11. The server is whitelisted so the players are picked to keep things calm and respectful.
The community feels really tight knit and friendly. People like to build together and work on big community projects. There are server wide events like pvp fights build contests and huge group builds so there is usually something going on if you do not want to play alone.
Even though it is survival there is good protection for your stuff. They use tools to check griefing or stealing so your base and items stay safe. That makes it easier to build cool things without worrying about random destruction.

PurpleSMP is a small chill survival server that feels like a safe place to just build and hang out. It is focused on PvE so you do not have to worry about random people ruining your day.
The server has mcMMO so you can level skills and get fun perks like better tree chopping. There are easy land claims with GriefPrevention so your builds are protected. Every block placed or broken is logged so staff can see what happened if something goes wrong.
PvP is off by default but you can turn it on for yourself with a simple command if you actually want to fight. There are personal vaults so you can store extra items when your inventory fills up. You can even look at the world in a web map that works kind of like Google Maps.
Staff take cheating and griefing seriously. There is a strong anti cheat that alerts staff in Discord and can take action until someone checks it. Your joins leaves and deaths are backed up so staff can restore your stuff if you lose items because someone broke the rules.
The world started as a friends only server and then opened to the public later. The owner calls it a forever world and says they do not plan to ever reset it. It is a good server if you just want a relaxing place to play the latest Minecraft and not deal with rude people.

This is a small 17 plus SMP that feels really chill and calm. It is mostly vanilla survival with a few plugins that just make life easier and do not change the game in a crazy way.
The server is all about building farming going on adventures and making friends. People seem to care about actually making a nice world instead of rushing everything.
It works on both Java and Bedrock so more players can join together. There is no griefing no pvp and no hacking or cheating so it feels safe to build your base and just relax.
Around spawn there are shops that help you get the basic stuff you need so starting out is not super hard. The community is friendly and new members are welcome.
