Vanilla Demon is a next generation vanilla survival server that aims to run the latest Minecraft version without server side lag.
It goes for a classic survival feel but it still has some helpful commands. You can jump out to the wilderness with /wild. You can set a waypoint with /sethome and come back with /home. You can also teleport to other players with /tp and check /help for more commands.
The difficulty is hard and item loss is disabled at spawn. There are no admins mods or helpers in game. It is anarchy in the sense that you can kill anyone and steal from any unclaimed land. Claims exist so you can protect your own area using /claimclock and the world is not just totally pre claimed everywhere.

Session Nations With Lore And Trading
Rai Nations is a session based nations server where you show up for set play times on Wednesday Friday Saturday and Sunday. It feels good for people who do not want to grind nonstop and then get left behind.
The main point is nations and people actually talking and dealing with each other. Diplomacy matters the most and war is rare and supposed to be a huge event with a real reason.
There is a merchants village where you trade credits for lots of stuff like enchants and building blocks. Sometimes there are events in the village too.
The world also has lore and ruins from old civilizations. There are also Unknown entities that can show up during sessions and act in weird ways like combat jump scares or other encounters.

Shobies SMP is a Java SMP that feels chill and active. It keeps the vanilla vibe so it still feels like normal Minecraft.
The server adds custom mobs and custom items. It is meant to be extra fun without changing everything.

AuroraSMP is a Hermitcraft style SMP that has been running since April 2025 and it has around 36 members.
It is whitelist only so you have to apply to get in. The server runs in seasons and it swaps between vanilla and modded. Even numbered seasons are vanilla and odd numbered seasons are modded.
Between the main seasons there are mini seasons that are shorter and they have a big gimmick. Past gimmicks include stuff like anarchy and skyblock.
This season has a Taski company gimmick where you can roll a task like a prank or a social challenge. If you do it with video proof you can earn 1 to 3 Taski Tokens. Tokens can be traded for diamonds at a rate of 1 token for 3 diamonds.
There is also a datapack called ModelApplier that lets players add custom item models for things like hats armour and decorations. It uses Blockbench models and textures and you send the files to aoa. Skirn WorldBuilding Wars is a worldbuilding server where players push from the first signs of civilization into bigger conflicts and bigger goals. It starts March 7 on Saturday and it is meant to feel like a long conquest from spawn and outward.
The admins try to stay out of the way as much as possible. Players decide the economy and the politics and who fights who. If you want war you can chase it and if you want alliances you can try to make them.

CaveMC is a semi anarchy survival server with enhanced vanilla gameplay. The whole overworld is underground so there is no surface at all. It feels like you are living in one giant cave world with biomes resources and structures hidden everywhere.
Season 2 is a fresh start with a bunch of additions. Survival is brutal and you have to be smart to make it.
There is also a big expansion called the Wasteland Dimension opening on November 8th. It has new gear to fight for huge mega structures with secrets and its own currency for a player driven economy.
