V For Vanilla is a vanilla SMP started on the 4th of December, 2021. Our goal is to provide players with a true vanilla, unaltered gameplay experience. We have minimal admin intervention, giving players the freedom to play the game how they like, while keeping things fair for everyone by banning cheaters. To keep the vanilla experience authentic there are no game changing plugins or commands. We have a small community with many people from all around the world. Players are free to build wherever they like, as long as they follow the server rules. However, griefing other players’ builds is allowed.

3. How often are there server events?

Server events are organized periodically by the admins. Keep an eye on the Discord server for announcements.

    The world is made to feel more interesting with quality of life plugins plus custom biomes and expanded random structures. There is also a claims and teams system so your builds cannot be destroyed or looted.

    You can play as a builder farmer merchant or explorer and just pick your own path. The server runs on version 1.21.10 and it supports both Java and Bedrock. It is hosted in England and new players are welcome.

    I found a small anarchy server that has been running on the same world for about 4 months and it is still going. It is the kind of place that does not do seasons and does not do wipes just to bring hype back.

    It is mostly vanilla but it has TPA and vote homes only. Dupes are patched and most exploits are allowed but movement hacks and xray are not.

    The world border is huge at 1m by 1m and the server is hosted in the EU on a dedicated machine. It usually sits around 20 TPS and there are like 0 to 9 players daily.

    Spawn is not safe and people will lie to you so you can lose everything fast. If you stick it out you might actually build something that stays there.

    Midnight SMP is a Java semi vanilla survival server that is all about grinding and building up your own path.

    It is made for people who want fair gameplay with no pay to win and no admin abuse.

    There is a player economy so you can grind trade and stack your wealth. You also get daily rewards that get better with a login streak.

    You can unlock chat tags to show off your progress. The server also runs events and giveaways and it has custom crates and premium plugins.

    It is 15 plus and it feels like a place where you can be a merchant or a fighter and just play survival your way.

    Whitelist Dragon Block C Story Server

    This is a modded 1.7.10 Java server built around Dragon Block C and a full Dragon Ball focus. It is a small passion project with a lot of work put into it using CNPC.

    The server has an original DBZ saga story and it can change based on what players do. Forms and skills come naturally as you level and teleport points are only for stats. Teleport point scaling was changed so it scales off level instead of mind.

    There is an auction and currency system plus warps and homes. Kai and Destroyer roles are community based and staff cannot take them. The community also votes on many server decisions and development.

    Transformations were redone with CNPC+ and there are lots of new ones especially for non Saiyan races. Reincarnating refunds your spent teleport points as potential and you get it back over time as a multiplier to your gains.

    Normal teleport point progression is replaced by sparring with other players and a custom boxing minigame. The saga gives a lot more teleport points than training but you can only do it once per day so players with less time can stay relevant.

    Harassment and nsfw rules are enforced and the server opens March 27th.

    18+ Hermit Style SMP With Permits

    I found a Java server that is inspired by Hermitcraft and it is for 18+ players only. It is whitelist only and you have to do a short application and a quick voice chat interview to get in.

    The world is meant to last a long time and they do not do frequent resets. The gameplay is mostly vanilla feeling with some quality of life plugins and some custom items like placeable player heads and mini blocks.

    The economy is based on diamonds and player run shops. They also use a permit system so shops do not get oversaturated and so builds and trading stay meaningful.

    Events seem like a huge deal here and they happen regularly. There are exploration events and server wide competitions and themed event series. Sometimes they even do experimental or modded style events like Life Series type runs One Block and modded hardcore challenges.

    The community sounds like builders grinders and casual redstone players. Pvp is limited and mostly happens during events. It is not a fast progression server and most people are in it for long term building and hanging out.
