UpfluenceMC is a new survival world that just opened and it feels really relaxed and friendly. The server has a brand new map so everyone is starting out together.
It is a mostly vanilla style SMP but they added some quality of life stuff. There are jobs you can do, dungeons to explore, quests to complete and shops to use so you always have something to work on.
The server allows both Java and Bedrock so you can play with friends on different devices. There is also a new skyblock server if you like more teamwork and shared challenges.
They focus a lot on fair play. It is not pay to win and everyone stays on equal footing. The vibe is low stress and chill and they want a friendly and collaborative community instead of toxic behavior.

This is a cracked SMP that is totally fresh. The world is brand new and has not really started yet so everyone gets to begin at the same time.
The server is vanilla and the version is 1.21.11. There are only a small amount of rules so it feels simple and not super strict.
The seasons are pretty short. Every week they open the end on the weekend so people can fight there and do late game stuff.
There are no qol mods right now. They might add some later if players really want them and vote for it.
It feels like a place for people who just want basic survival and weekly end fights without a ton of extra stuff.

TendoMC is a modded Naruto style server where you play as a ninja and go through custom quests and boss fights. The server uses CustomNPCs so the enemies actually use abilities and jutsu type attacks. There is a lot of focus on story and they keep adding more lore events.
You can choose between five nations like Leaf Sand Stone Cloud and Mist. Each nation has its own NPC shop that sells special outfits and some other items so you can really look like you belong to that village.
You can work toward becoming things like Akatsuki or even Hokage. The server runs ninja exams a lot depending on how the player base grows so people who grind and play well can earn higher ranks.
The owner says the server is not pay to win. Everything you can get with real money can also be earned from bosses and questlines. There are crates but they are meant for people who do not have time to play all day and still want to keep up.
The server runs on Java with Forge on version 1.12.2 and it is fully released. The owner has experience running big communities in other games and wants to bring a fresh style of Naruto gameplay into Minecraft.

This server is called Samsara and it feels like a big story world someone has been building forever. The owner has been working on the map since around 2013 using Worldpainter and it is all made by hand. The world is huge and has different layers of caves and strange biomes that are meant to be explored in survival.
The gameplay is kind of vanilla plus. You still play normal survival but there are extra things like mob heads voice chat graves and custom mobs. The world is made so the biomes are the right size for survival and not just giant empty zones.
There is also a custom questing plugin that the owner made over the last months. It gives you a story and reasons to go explore secret ruins and places that you can find on your own. The server is meant to feel fresh weird poetic and sometimes really cool to look at.
You start in a place called SpawnHenge and from there you just go your own way. It is free to play and all about immersion and discovery instead of pay stuff.
