    The Pen MC Classic 2014 Prison Grind

    The Pen MC is a classic prison server that feels like the 2014 days. It is barebones and grindy and it does not try to turn you into an instant god. You mine you smelt your ore yourself and you actually have to travel through pvp zones to sell and stay alive.

    You rank up from A to H and then you can reach Parole. After you hit the top you can prestige and keep going. The cool part is you are not stuck doing just one thing because there are different paths like mining fishing mob arena combat and a cookie bakery system.

    Fishing is custom and can make solid money. The mob arena has waves and boss fights and you can earn money and shards with groups. The bakery path has you farm wheat and cocoa then bake cookies with custom mechanics and work on long term quests and leaderboards.

    There are guards and contraband rules plus illegal crops that are high risk. You can rent cells and plots use the auction house place bounties do parkour and even end up in solitary. The server also says premium stuff is not pay to win because it can be earned through gameplay.

    This is a friendly survival server where people play a mostly vanilla style world and just have fun together.

    It is cross play so Java and Bedrock players can both join. The server stays on the latest Java version and it also lets older clients connect.

    There are only a few quality of life plugins like proximity chat and vein miner plus McMMO. The staff team is active so griefing is almost not a thing. It feels like a solid long lasting place with a good community and they want more nice positive players.

    This is a community centered survival server that feels like a Hermitcraft style SMP. It is made by the players and the choices come from the community with requests and polls.

    The server tries to stay close to vanilla but still adds some fun and useful stuff. There is a diamond based economy with a shopping district. You will also see public builds and bigger projects.

    Most people use proximity chat so it feels way more social. There are homes and some cosmetic and quality of life plugins too. The server is whitelisted and it is 18+ only.

    You can usually find around 5 to 20 people online during the day and there are lots of regular players. If you want friends there are groups that are looking for new members.

    It runs on Minecraft 1.21.11 and it is Java only.
