This is a modded 1.7.10 Java server built around Dragon Block C and a full Dragon Ball focus. It is a small passion project with a lot of work put into it using CNPC.
The server has an original DBZ saga story and it can change based on what players do. Forms and skills come naturally as you level and teleport points are only for stats. Teleport point scaling was changed so it scales off level instead of mind.
There is an auction and currency system plus warps and homes. Kai and Destroyer roles are community based and staff cannot take them. The community also votes on many server decisions and development.
Transformations were redone with CNPC+ and there are lots of new ones especially for non Saiyan races. Reincarnating refunds your spent teleport points as potential and you get it back over time as a multiplier to your gains.
Normal teleport point progression is replaced by sparring with other players and a custom boxing minigame. The saga gives a lot more teleport points than training but you can only do it once per day so players with less time can stay relevant.

I found a Java server that is inspired by Hermitcraft and it is for 18+ players only. It is whitelist only and you have to do a short application and a quick voice chat interview to get in.
The world is meant to last a long time and they do not do frequent resets. The gameplay is mostly vanilla feeling with some quality of life plugins and some custom items like placeable player heads and mini blocks.
The economy is based on diamonds and player run shops. They also use a permit system so shops do not get oversaturated and so builds and trading stay meaningful.
Events seem like a huge deal here and they happen regularly. There are exploration events and server wide competitions and themed event series. Sometimes they even do experimental or modded style events like Life Series type runs One Block and modded hardcore challenges.
