Roleplay SMP With Factions And Betrayals
Headrest SMP is a Paper survival server on 1.20.10 with a bunch of quality of life plugins and world upgrades like Terralith and extra structures. It has an active community and it is built around meeting people and making stories.
The server is roleplay focused with lore and factions. People build together and also clash in wars when it happens. PvP is more of a side thing but fights can still matter especially with faction drama.
There is a safe zone at spawn where players can build shops and hang out. The server also uses Simple VC so players can talk in game if they want.

The big thing here is custom gear that goes past Netherite. You do not buy it and you do not get it from crates. You earn it by fighting bosses out in the Wilderness.
Boss spawns turn into hot zones since they are in contested PvP areas. If you try to take the kill you also have to deal with other players showing up to steal the drop.
Progress is meant to feel slow and important. mcMMO is capped at 99. Farms and villager enchanted book abuse are heavily restricted. Death also hurts because power loss is on.
