Broken Crown is a towny server that is all about geopolitics and big Minecraft nations. The server is planned to open on January 1st 2026 so it is still being worked on right now.
The main idea is to build towns and nations then use strategy and war if you want. PVP is turned on by default so danger is always there. The server uses the towny outlaw system as a kind of police so enemies and criminals can be hunted in a more organized way.
The map is an Earth map that is about 30k by 15k and it is already populated so there are real spots to fight over and claim. There is a brewery plugin so you can make drinks. The economy is based on diamonds so diamonds actually matter a lot. Crops grow in a more realistic way so farming feels different and more serious.
There is also a dynamic map so you can see the world from your browser. The owner says the server will be compatible with both Java and Bedrock. More features might get added before launch but the core is towny nations PVP and wars that you can choose to join or avoid.

HermitiaSMP is a small survival server that is inspired by Hermitcraft. The whole thing is built around community and people working together from all over the world.
There are weekly events so there is always something happening. Some events are in game and some are about real life or art and they help new players get into the community fast.
The server has optional proximity voice chat so you can talk to people who are close to you in game. There are event houses and community builds and you can join a house and earn points for it.
HermitiaSMP uses a custom datapack and some quality of life mods to make normal Minecraft more interesting. It also has anti grief plugins like CoreProtect so your stuff is safe.
There is a server news service so players can keep up with what is going on. The server also has a player run roleplay government and they are working on server lore that is coming soon.

Sunset Retreat SMP is a seasonal vanilla plus survival server that is made for players who are 18 or older. It is based in the EU and it feels really calm and relaxed. The whole idea is to escape real life stress and just play Minecraft in peace.
The community is whitelisted and meant to be mature so people are pretty chill and friendly. It is a good place to meet new people and find friends because the playerbase is welcoming and inclusive.
The owners are very active and actually play on the server themselves. They focus on updating the server and managing it so the world stays fresh but still feels like normal Minecraft.

Davidscloud is a long running gaming community that wants people to play games together without pay to win stuff ruining the fun. The Minecraft server has been around since version 1.7.10 so it feels like a place that is not going to vanish any time soon.
The server is mostly about chill survival with strong protection. You start with a block claim area and you earn more claim blocks as you play. Only you and the people you trust can build or break inside your claim. Your pets are also protected. If something weird happens the admin team checks it out and helps fix problems.
There are some cool quality of life things. There is a bank system that gives you interest every hour you play. You can save up money and then spend it at the market near the survival spawn. The merchants there sell stuff like fish potions wood and other small items that help you out.
The world is not just one simple survival map. There is the main survival world and also an amplified world you can reach from spawn by talking to Zedmun. The amplified world uses the caves and cliffs update style with crazy tall terrain. They are also working on an event world and a creative plot world so there will be even more stuff to do.
Overall it feels like a safe friendly survival network where people can relax build and not worry about griefers or pay to win.
