FabricCraft is a survival server that stays close to real vanilla because it runs on Fabric. It is semi anarchy so you get a lot of freedom but it still has a few rules.
There are no land claims and there are no world resets so everything you build can stay for the long run. The world ends up feeling player driven with trade and alliances plus rivalries and raids.
It is made for farms and redstone so your builds are supposed to work like you expect. Hacked clients and other advantage mods are not allowed and staff actually moderates. Griefing is banned within 1k of spawn and it is enforced without claims.

Rooted Realm is a long term world that does not wipe. It is semi vanilla and tries to make playing feel rewarding for lots of different players.
There is no random teleport. Instead there are custom portals that take you to set locations around the world and you can also get back to spawn.
The economy is run by players using diamonds as currency. There is a shopping district called the market where people can trade and set up shops.

This is a Minecraft NeoForge 1.21.1 server hosted on a home network.
Every 5 minutes there is a big lag spike when the world save happens. Players can still walk around but blocks you place or break can snap back after. You also cannot open inventories during the spike.
The freeze only lasts about 5 seconds but it keeps happening and it gets annoying during fights. The owner is trying to change the save timing to something like 15 minutes or disable it and run saves with scheduled commands. They already tried save off and it did not stop the spikes.
