    Ordinary SMP is a vanilla survival server on Java 1.21.11 and it stays up to date with the newest stuff.

    It feels like a tight knit place where people from all over build together explore and just hang out. The server is whitelisted so the community stays respectful.

    They use Ledger to track what happens so griefing or stealing can be checked and dealt with. There is also BlueMap so you can look at the world on a live map.

    You can use Simple VoiceChat to talk in game and there is an AudioPlayer for custom audio. The dragon can drop elytra too.

    They also run a custom resource pack with cosmetics trophies and event rewards with a HermitCraft inspired vibe. Events happen like PvP battles build contests and big community projects.

    Steel Union SMP is a chill modded survival server that feels like it is built for big dreams. It is based around Create and a bunch of add ons so you can build machines and set up trains and automation.

    The world uses Terralith so there are lots of lush scenic biomes and cool spots to start a base. People lean into nations and lore and also do community projects together.

    PvP and conflict is not the main thing and it only happens if the nation owners both agree. The server is up most of the time but you should expect random restarts sometimes.

    It also has building and decoration mods like copycat style tools and Macaw blocks plus better food and farming with Farmer’s Delight. There is also extra gear and tech from Superb Warfare and upgraded structures from YUNG style mods.

    It is true vanilla survival with only a few rules. No cheats are allowed but PvP and griefing are fair game.

    They also say there is no pay to win and no resets. They do not allow alts either so you cannot just come back on a new account.

    The server is brand new and started two days ago so it still feels fresh. It is for people who want real hardcore and want to make their one life count.
