This server is called Peaceful Haven and it is a brand new vanilla survival world. It started only a week ago so you can still join early and help shape everything from the beginning. The world is permanent and they say there will be no map resets ever so your builds are meant to stay.
The community feels small and friendly and they really care about cooperation and creativity. People work together on farms and shared projects and it is all about long term survival not rushing. The vibe is relaxed so it is good if you just want to chill and build.
Right now they already have some basic farms like iron mobs and crops and they are building up a spawn area near the shore. Players are also working on roads and other infrastructure and there is still a lot of untouched land if you want your own base.

Waychest is a PvE semi vanilla SMP where everything happens in one giant shared survival world. It is like a mix of a public server and a private realm.
When you join you start a Journey with your own spawn spot. It feels like you have your own server for you and your friends. As you explore more you slowly find out there are other players out there on their own Journeys too.
There are special chests called Waychests that connect different Journeys. They help guide you across the world to places other players discovered before you and they reward you when you find them. Later you can craft your own Waychests so the next Journey can discover your builds.
There is a flying minigame that uses elytra you craft from special ingredients. You fly through rings in the world and the path can lead you to a Waychest made by some stranger somewhere out there.
The server also uses discovery based warps so fast travel only works after you actually find the warp point first. It keeps the world feeling big and about exploring instead of just teleporting everywhere.
The focus is on exploring building and slowly crossing paths with other people in the same massive world while still keeping that cozy almost singleplayer feeling.

This is a Minecraft 1.21.10 server called MinecraftOffline and it is all about lifesteal and pvp.
Everyone gets a home with simple commands so you can set your base with sethome and go back with home. There is also tpa so you can teleport to other players if they accept you.
The main thing is the lifesteal system. When you kill other players you gain hearts and when you die you lose hearts. If you lose all your hearts you get banned. New players have a one hour grace period so they do not lose hearts right away which is nice.
PvP is taken really serious. There is a plugin that locks commands in combat and if you try to log out it spawns a killable npc that drops your stuff. There is also protection against crazy speed cheats and it cuts down on really bad spam.
There is an in game shop where you spend vote tokens to get custom name colors and custom motds. The server also tracks playtime kills and deaths and gives rewards when you hit certain milestones.
You can even vote to skip the night with a simple command so you do not get stuck in the dark all the time.

This is a new Minecraft server made by someone who is still learning how to host.

MODMIX Factions is a server that mixes old school factions with modern Minecraft.
It is made for players who like grinding and PvP and building bases then fighting to keep them. You can raid with TNT and even obsidian has durability so nothing is unraidable. Faction land claims are there so you can protect your area but you still always need to watch your back.
The server uses MCMMO so you level up skills like swords mining and acrobatics. There are duels player vaults and spawner stacking so you can store your stuff fight one on one and build up your spawners.
You earn your rank by playing and using XP in game money and skills instead of just getting it for free. It runs on the latest Minecraft version 1.21.8 and works on both Java and Bedrock so a lot of different players can join.
Overall it feels like classic factions brought into the new version where building and defending your base matters but you should always expect a fight.
