I found a friendly Minecraft survival server in the EU with a community that started in the Netherlands. It has about 12 regular players and they want more active people from nearby countries so the world feels more alive.
It is an open survival world where you can build together on group projects or just do your own thing. You can also join small groups and help with community projects when you feel like it.
The rules are simple. No griefing and no stealing. PVP only if both people agree. Respect other builds bases and private areas. Be normal and respectful in chat and Discord. Dupes are allowed but no lag machines or stuff that can mess up the server.
This is a Cobblemon server called Cobblespire and it is modded with a big pack and lots to mess with.
It uses Lootr so loot feels fair since each player gets their own chest rolls. There is chest protection too so nobody can just steal your stuff and you can trust friends if you want.
Starters are a big deal here because the starter pool is custom and they come with max IVs so you actually care about your first pick. For hunting there are Alpha Pokemon and size variations plus Raid Dens and Unchained.
There are also special trinkets like Terraria style accessories plus YouTube linked music discs. You also get extra food from Farmers Delight and more furniture and functional gravestones and backpacks.
The server has an economy with merchants and different ways to earn Pokedollars. The community is friendly and spread across Asia Europe and America and there is Simple Voice Chat if you like talking.
I found a semi anarchy survival server that started on October 11th 2024 and it is hosted in New York City in the USA.
It is meant to feel like real Vanilla Minecraft with very few changes. PvP and griefing are allowed and there are no map resets. The world border is huge at 2 million blocks.
You can join on Java versions from 1.7.2 up to 1.21.11 and they recommend 1.21.10. The server stays online 24 7.
There is no pay to win and no teleporting. The only command they allow is spawn so people far away can get back to where players are. Nether roof access is allowed. Phantoms are removed and only half the players are needed to skip the night.
They do not allow exploits lag machines duping spamming or harassment and racial slurs in chat.
I found a super new Java SMP that is basically vanilla and only a few days old.
It has no major mods or plugins so it feels simple and normal survival.
Voice chat is encouraged but it is not required. There are around 15 people in the Discord and you can get whitelisted by dropping your ign after you join.
World of Elysium is a Java 1.21 survival server where players fight over land and try to become the strongest group.
It stays true to SMP survival but it also has a factions system with land claiming so you can set up a base and protect your area.
PvP is on and base raiding is part of the deal. There is also arena PvP if you want fights that start fast.
People can start wars make alliances and join community events. The staff is active and the server says it is not pay to win. The world is meant to last for a long time.
