Iperios is a survival style server where people build nations and fight for power. It is all about geopolitics and McMMO so you train skills and go to war for land and wealth and rare enchants.
On this server players can create their own nation from scratch. You can choose your own government and make your own laws and ranks. If you do not want to lead you can just join a nation that is already made and help it grow.
There are special resource camps that nations can conquer. When your nation holds these camps they give you important geopolitical resources. You use these to expand your territory and build more stuff for your nation. There is a full list of what you can make on their discord and the staff is active and helpful.
The server uses plugins like McMMO for skills and CrazyEnchants for custom enchants. It also has Dynmap so you can see the world map and GriefPrevention to protect builds and SilkSpawner to move spawners. Essentials is there for basic commands.
To join you have to get whitelisted first. When you join a staff member will guide you and give you a starter kit so you are not lost at the beginning. Then you can go find a nation or create your own and start your journey.

Oathwood is a Towny survival SMP that is made for people who want a world that actually lasts and does not reset all the time. It feels slow and calm and like everything you build actually matters.
You can claim land make towns and even form nations with other players. There are real player shops using shopkeepers and the whole economy is driven by what players do not by random kits or anything.
PvP is turned on but it is not just chaos. Fights are supposed to have a reason and random griefing with no point is not tolerated. Towns are where you go if you want more safety and where trading and reputation become important.
The server has normal survival gameplay with some light quality of life stuff so it still feels like Minecraft but smoother. The community is meant to be welcoming and focused on cooperation instead of noise and drama.
If you like building trading exploring or just grinding quietly this server rewards people who stick around. Over time towns grow and names start to mean something and it really feels like a world that remembers what you do.

This is a little Minecraft server that is trying to use a fabric mod for alternative authentication. The owner is not really a mod developer but they are working hard to fix it so players who do not use Mojang accounts can still join.
Right now the idea is that people with other accounts like ElyBy can hop on together. The whitelist is a bit broken and gives errors when it tries to find players that are not on Mojang so the owner is digging through the mod code and GitHub issues to make it work.
It feels like a small tech focused place where players are patient and kind of nerdy. People here probably do not mind testing stuff and dealing with some bugs while things get fixed. If you like messing with fabric mods and custom auth and just hanging out while things get patched up this server is for you.

Warbound SMP is a normal survival multiplayer server that looks like a regular vanilla world at first. You mine build and make farms just like usual. People mess with redstone and set up bases and it all feels pretty normal.
Then the armor trims change everything. Trims give you different abilities and traits so what you wear really matters. They are not enchants and it is not a giant plugin mess. It is just trims and each trim can change how you fight move or survive.
There are no classes and no skill trees and no giant modpack. The server keeps the pure SMP feeling where the world is vanilla style and players create the lore. Wars and alliances happen because of the people not because of forced systems.
Players can form their own groups and betray each other and builds actually matter because battles and stories happen around them. Your choices matter a lot and your armor can make the difference in a fight.
If you want a server that feels like a normal SMP until it suddenly is not normal because of the trims Warbound SMP is that kind of place.

This is a small java SMP based in the UK that feels really cozy.
The server is mostly vanilla with some small quality of life tweaks that make building feel more fun. It is focused on community and people feeling comfortable and having fun together.
There is an active event team that hosts events pretty often and they also run a movie night every Sunday. The SMP has some extra features to make interacting with other players more fun.
They also have an active discord server where people hang out in voice calls for other games or just to chat.
