This server is a fantasy style Minecraft RPG made by a team called Imperium. It has a bunch of custom mechanics that I have not really seen before.
You can actually draw spells to cast them which feels super cool. There are also bases that are kind of like deepwoken style so it feels different from normal Minecraft servers.
The server cares about both PvP and PvE. So if you like fighting other players you can do that. If you like fighting mobs and doing more adventure stuff you can do that too. It is trying to make both types of players happy.
I do not see any special rules listed or versions written down. It mostly looks like a place for people who want something new and more intense than a normal survival or minigame server.

This server is called PGMC.WORLD and it is pretty simple but cool. When you join you can pick how you want to play.
You can go to a survival world with the slash server survival command. If you like building anything you want you can go to a creative world with slash server creative. If you like the game how it was meant to be you can go to a vanilla world with slash server vanilla.
I like that it just gives you the three main styles and lets you choose. It feels like you can hop between them depending on your mood. The community hangs out on their discord and the server feels like it is made for people who just want to play Minecraft in different ways without a bunch of extra stuff.
If you want survival creative and vanilla in one place this server does that.

Crafinity is a chill survival server where you can play the latest update on both Java and Bedrock. It runs on version 1.21.8 and it feels like a mix of classic survival with extra stuff to grind.
There is an economy with jobs and quests so you can make money by actually playing instead of just waiting around. You can level McMMO skills too so your tools and combat get stronger over time.
The server is very player driven. You can make your own player shops and set up warps so people can visit your base or your store. It makes the world feel lived in because everyone builds their own little area.
You can claim your land so random people do not wreck your builds. There are teams you can form with friends so you can build and survive together without worrying about grief.

Ordinary SMP is a vanilla Java survival server that feels like a small friendly neighborhood. It is whitelisted so people who join actually want to play and respect others.
The server is always updated and right now it runs on version 1.21.11. Players from all over the world build explore and just hang out together. A lot of the focus is on working on community projects and making cool bases.
There is grief protection with tools that let staff check what happened if something gets broken or stolen so your builds feel safe. The server also has a live world map so you can see the world from a browser and plan where you want to travel or build.
You can use voice chat in game to talk to other players and there is custom audio too which makes things feel more immersive. The dragon drops elytra so you can get wings by beating the Ender Dragon.

HollowSMP is a Survival plus server that feels like a chill long term world. It runs on Java 1.21.10 and also lets Bedrock players join so more friends can play together.
The gameplay is mostly normal survival with some quality of life stuff. Spawn is protected and it gives healing and food so new players can get started without getting wrecked. There is anti grief and anti cheat so people cannot just ruin your builds.
The server has built in proximity voice chat so you can actually talk to people who are near you in game. There are tabs and leaderboards and good moderation tools but there is no pay to win which makes it feel fair.
The End is open and the end cities are still fresh and not all looted so you can explore and gear up there. PvP is not the main focus but there is a dragon egg system. If you hold the egg you get buffs but you also become a PvP target and people can see you so it creates random fights. If you do not like PvP you can mostly avoid it and just build and explore.
The community feels active and pretty relaxed. It is a good place if you want to build cool stuff hang out and sometimes jump into PvP when you feel like it.

This server is called Neopoliticia and it is all about Napoleonic Europe on a giant 1 to 800 scale map. It feels like you are playing inside a huge history project but with Minecraft battles and cool gear from that era.
The thing I noticed right away is that it has tons of weapons and items that fit the Napoleonic theme and all of it runs only on plugins. So you do not need any mods to join which is really nice if you hate messing with files.
The server works on both Java and Bedrock so it is easy to get your friends on no matter what they play on. They said the server just started so it is a really good time to hop in and try to make a name for yourself before everything is claimed.
From what I can tell the whole point is to fight in wars conquer land and build your own legacy on this huge Europe map with custom gear and no extra client stuff.
