I found this really cool Minecraft SMP that is made for people who want to create content.
The owner already runs a public SMP with a big discord and there are always players online. Now they are starting a private SMP just for recording and posting on Youtube.
Everything is unscripted so it is all natural reactions and moments. They also said there will be a unique custom twist but they did not spoil what it is.

Solarion SMP is a semi vanilla survival server that feels like one of those Hermitcraft type worlds. It is made for players who want long term survival and a place where the world still feels alive after months of playing.
The server is 18 plus and whitelisted so the community is more mature and pretty chill. People there like to build shops make mega bases do redstone or just hang out and vibe. There is no forced roleplay but there are natural lore moments and collaborations between players.
Seasons last around six to eight months and a new season is starting with a fresh world so everyone gets a clean start. There are player made minigames community districts and shared projects so it is not just everyone off on their own.
The server uses Java 1.21.x and has some helpful datapacks and plugins like proximity voice chat a live 3D map an item recovery system after death a simple sleep system and tools for armor stands heads and custom images. There is also protection from griefing using rollback but no land claims and the admins are described as chill and not power hungry.

Oathwood SMP is a survival server that is built around towny and economy. It feels like one of those worlds where people stay for a long time and slowly build up a real community.
You can claim land and make your own town. Other players can move in and it starts to feel like a small neighborhood. Because the gameplay is balanced for long term survival you do not rush everything in one day.
There is an economy with player run shops that use shopkeeper plugins. People can open their own little stores and buy and sell stuff with each other. Builds are kept safe with a protection system so your stuff does not just get broken.
The server works for both Java and Bedrock players so friends on different platforms can still play together. It has around forty slots so it does not feel super crowded but there are still enough people to meet.

This server is called CaveMC and it is on Season 2 right now. The whole overworld is a giant cave world so there is no normal surface at all. Everything is underground with different biomes resources and structures so it feels super weird but also really cool.
It is semi anarchy survival so the world is pretty brutal. People can fight and grief and only the most clever players really last. The gameplay is still kind of vanilla but it has custom world generation that real Minecraft devs made so it looks and plays different from normal.
Season 2 adds a huge new thing called the Wasteland Dimension. It is not just a biome. It is like a whole extra place to explore. There is brand new gear you can only get there so combat and survival change a lot. There are big mega structures with secrets and loot so exploring actually matters.
The Wasteland also has its own currency and a new economy so players can trade and do more player driven stuff. There is a new spawn for this season that fits the Wasteland vibe. The map is custom generated and has special features and tricks so it is not just a normal world.
If you like hard survival underground bases and crazy exploration this server is all about that. It is for players who like danger and want to live in caves instead of on the surface.
