Waychest is a custom-built Minecraft experience that extends vanilla survival mode with an emphasis on exploration and building. It is a hybrid of a public multiplayer server and a private Realm. You (and friends) start your Journey on what appears to be a server all to yourself.
But as you explore, you will discover that you are not alone: custom items and blocks will guide you across the world to find what the people who came before you left behind. If you’re lucky, you might even run into your cohabitants in person.
