# Who are we?

Terrashift is a whitelisted vanilla SMP 1.20.2 server with a focus on collaboration and building a community.

If you are interested in starting fresh and would like to play/build on a server similar to Hermitcraft with a focus on building a community feel free to apply with the form listed at the end of the post. We will get back to you as soon as possible.

# Details:

If you feel like building and collaborating on giant redstone contraptions or just want to build a cozy hut somewhere and relax we got you covered. We are very builder-friendly and while it’s still a fresh new world there are great community cities and massive public farms in the works.

Server rules are rather simple. Terrashift is a place where we’d like everyone to feel welcome and have fun, so in general rules follow the same principles:

* no griefing

* no stealing

* no pvp without consent from all parties

* no rudeness towards fellow members

* no "hacking" like x-ray/fly/general mods that give unfair advantages or abilities not possible in vanilla.

We currently have \\\~30 active members and are looking for people who share the same goals. All server changes/additions/removals are voted on by all members to make sure everyone has a say on the server direction as it develops in Discord.

Currently, while we try to keep gameplay as vanilla as possible server is running several datapacks:

* home teleports

* player head drops- more mob heads

* color names

* armor statues

* fast leaf decay

* wandering trades

All of the changes related to datapacks are decided by voting so the list can change over time.

    I found WinterMC and it is a modded survival SMP with a brand new world. It has 120 plus mods so there is a lot to mess with right away.

    People can claim land so your builds stay protected and you can relax more. The world generation is custom and it is made to look huge with continents and islands and big landscapes.

    Exploring seems like a big deal here since there are more structures like dungeons and better strongholds and mineshafts and cave biomes. If you like automation you can build Create factories and rail stuff too.

    Survival has extra food and farming content and a bunch of quality of life mods like backpacks waystones JEI corpse and voice chat. It also has more decoration and building options so bases can look really nice.

    The vibe is chill and the goal is to play without unnecessary chaos while you build explore grind or just hang out.

    MCVerse Permanent No Grief Survival

    MCVerse is a long term survival place where you can build big projects and take long breaks without stressing about your stuff. It is focused on no grief protection and a world that does not reset so it feels like a real home.

    The main survival server is a classic grind with a permanent map. You can trade through player markets or just do everything yourself. You rank up for free while you play and the perks are not locked behind paying.

    The community tries to keep chat clean with low tolerance for swearing. Public chat is meant for Minecraft and gaming so it stays chill.

    Gameplay stays close to vanilla with no custom items enchants or skills. There are some optional quality of life things like teleport. There are also builder tools like armor stands mini blocks and decorative heads.

    There are multiple modes you can pick from. A permanent survival SMP on 1.21.10 plus a hardcore vanilla option on 1.21.10. There is also a vanilla no grief server with smaller claims on 1.21.11 that runs in shorter worlds. If you just want to test ideas there is creative plots on 1.21.8.

    Events are player driven and supported by the admins. The server has been online for two years and the world keeps growing at your own pace.

    Semi Vanilla SMP With Shops And Claims

    Crafted Survival is a semi vanilla SMP that feels like it is all about community and building your own place.

    Players trade with a diamond based economy and you can set up player shops or use a shops GUI to browse what people are selling.

    Land claiming is on so your builds stay safe and it uses golden shovels. It is PvE focused with no griefing and no keep inventory.

    Java and Bedrock players can both join. There is also a live world map you can view in your browser. Resource worlds are separate so the main world stays clean.

    You can earn ranks and vote rewards just by playing. There are weekly events and the server tries to keep things welcoming.

    Meraki SMP Nations, Trade, and Siege Wars

    Meraki SMP is a survival server where towns grow into nations and the map changes because of player choices. Towns rise along rivers and through mountain passes so where you settle really matters.

    With Towny you can start a town expand land team up into nations and make alliances and treaties. Your town makes daily resources so strategy and geography feel important.

    War is not forced but it can happen. Nations can fight siege wars battle over resource spots or join event wars that can shift borders. Some players stay neutral but it comes with trade offs.

    The economy is fully player made. There are no admin shops and no villager trading so people run real markets and trade groups. The overworld uses Terra so the world looks dramatic and fun to explore and build in.

    It also has quality of life stuff like veinminer smart spawners skills and click mobs plus brewing taverns better horses and cross chat with Discord. It supports both Java and Bedrock.

    Fabric Vanilla Semi Anarchy Survival

    FabricCraft is a Fabric based server that stays close to vanilla survival but still feels a bit wild. The big point is that farms work and redstone works the way people expect. The world is meant to keep its history too since it does not reset.

    There are no land claims so players end up deciding what happens. You can make alliances trade raid and start rivalries and it all happens naturally. It is semi anarchy with very few rules but hacked clients and unfair mods are not allowed.

    Griefing near spawn is not allowed within 1k blocks and the staff handles it with active moderation instead of claim plugins. Simple Voice Chat is available across the server.

    There is also a creative world with no plots so people have lots of space to test builds before using them in survival.
