TendoMC is a modded Naruto style server where you play as a ninja and go through custom quests and boss fights. The server uses CustomNPCs so the enemies actually use abilities and jutsu type attacks. There is a lot of focus on story and they keep adding more lore events.
You can choose between five nations like Leaf Sand Stone Cloud and Mist. Each nation has its own NPC shop that sells special outfits and some other items so you can really look like you belong to that village.
You can work toward becoming things like Akatsuki or even Hokage. The server runs ninja exams a lot depending on how the player base grows so people who grind and play well can earn higher ranks.
The owner says the server is not pay to win. Everything you can get with real money can also be earned from bosses and questlines. There are crates but they are meant for people who do not have time to play all day and still want to keep up.
The server runs on Java with Forge on version 1.12.2 and it is fully released. The owner has experience running big communities in other games and wants to bring a fresh style of Naruto gameplay into Minecraft.

Enchantments are made super rare on purpose so you cannot just rely on max gear. It feels more like you need planning and positioning and skill. If you want to really win you will probably need allies and numbers and good infrastructure.
Healing is changed to UHC style so you do not regen from food. You need a campfire or golden apples to heal which makes the server slower and more intense.
The world has custom terrain and regions with handmade structures. SimpleVoiceChat is on so you can talk to people in game. There is also a lands plugin for ranks and permissions in your land but it does not fully stop theft so you still have to think ahead.
