RecraftSMP is a whitelisted survival server that just started a new season on Minecraft Java Fabric 1.21.10. It feels like a fresh world where everyone is starting over and that makes it really fun.
The server is all about a chill community and people working together. There are players who like building cool bases and others who like redstone or exploring. It is meant for adults only with an age requirement of 18 plus so the vibe is more relaxed.
There is a shopping district where players can set up shops and trade and there is also a build competition district and other community areas. The server has an integrated creative server too so you can test ideas before you build them in survival.
RecraftSMP uses custom generated structures and BlazeandCave’s Advancements plus VanillaTweaks and Bluemap. It still feels close to vanilla but with extra stuff to explore and more goals to work on.

OrianaMC is a calm Minecraft survival server that feels really relaxed. It is made for players who just want to play without constant pvp or drama or crazy chaos.
The server is non pvp and builds are protected so people can focus on building and exploring without getting griefed. It feels like a small community where you see the same players a lot and can actually get to know them.
The gameplay is mostly normal survival but with extra features to make it more fun over time. There are jobs and ranks that reward you for playing a lot. There are skills that level up when you do common things like mining or other normal actions.
The server also has weekly challenges and seasonal events so there is always something new to do. Right now there is an advent calendar with rewards for active players. Custom items with special abilities and custom crafting are planned but they are not pay to win.

This is a hardcore Minecraft server where you only get 5 lives. When you run out of lives you are done so every choice feels really important.
Players are already forming gangs and little groups. People team up watch each others backs and sometimes turn on each other. It feels like everyone knows everyone because the community is pretty small.
The server feels really entertaining to watch and play on because stuff happens all the time. Since there are only a few lives people get nervous during fights and it makes every moment a lot more intense.

Foggy Willows is a server that is actually real vanilla. It runs on the normal minecraft server jar with no datapacks and no plugins at all.
When you join there is no crazy spawn or long story to read. You just appear in the world and start playing. Players are expected to deal with their own social problems so how you play is really up to you.
You can build what you want and play how you want. Technical Minecraft players are welcome here too. The server is always on the latest stable vanilla jar and it is self hosted on a machine that was built just for it.
There are no donations and no world border. There is no tp and no sethome so you have to travel by yourself. The game is on hard mode and it is Java only.

This is a creative citybuild server with a really big custom terrain world. The main idea is to join a long lasting community and build cool cities together.
You start by applying so they can keep griefers out. After the short app you can get world edit and other helpful commands. Then you just pick a spot on the map and begin your project.
There is optional geopolitical roleplay going on. Players make claims that show up on the map and they build towns and settlements with their own stories. If you do not like roleplay that is fine. You can just focus on building and still fit in.
The community feels tight knit and pretty chill. There are only a few laid back rules and people hang out and talk a lot. Staff and players are usually online to chat to give build advice and to team up on big projects. Sometimes they run events too.
If you want a place to do serious building and also maybe join some world lore and politics this server is made for that.
