This server is called SurviveWithUs and it is a semi vanilla SMP that tries really hard to feel like normal Minecraft but better. It is focused on quality of life stuff and on having a strong community instead of crazy big plugins that change the whole game.
From what I saw the community is small but very close and some of the people have been together for like seven years. Everyone can help with big decisions and there is a place where players can suggest new ideas for the server. Most of the plugins are custom so the owners can add things the players ask for which makes the server feel very personal.
The server is totally against pay to win. You do not need to spend money to get anything important. You also do not have to vote every day to rank up. Instead they made a custom system where you level up just by playing. Voting only gives thank you rewards and is not needed to progress.
The whole goal of SurviveWithUs is to feel like an old school server where the owners are present and the players actually know each other. It is meant for people who want a chill survival world and a friendly community to play with over a long time.

Exodus is a semi vanilla survival server that is all about geopolitics. It is meant more for geopol than for heavy roleplay so you spend a lot of time dealing with nations power and control instead of acting out a character.
The world has a 5000 by 5000 border so resources are limited. This makes trading and deals way more important because you cannot just run forever to find new stuff.
You do not have to be good at pvp to have fun here. You can focus on building cool bases or getting into politics and making alliances and enemies. Different players like different things and the server really knows that.
There are some clear rules to keep things fair. No griefing other people builds. No duping and no x ray. The end and the nether are closed so everyone is stuck in the overworld together. Farms have to be hidden and there are rules made to make pvp better and not super toxic.
The server started pretty recently so there is still room for new people to join and find a spot in the world.

This is a straight up vanilla survival server with no land claims and no teleport commands. It really tries to feel like normal Minecraft. You spawn in and have to walk everywhere and survive on your own or with people you meet.
The world has been running since April 1st 2019 and the overworld has never been reset. That means you can explore super old bases and history that players built over more than six years. It feels like a forever world and they say they want to keep it that way.
PvP and griefing are allowed so you have to be careful where you build and who you trust. There are no factions plugins and no economy stuff. It is just survival with other players the way the game was meant to be played.
They use proximity voice chat with the Simple Voice Chat mod if you want it. It is optional but it makes talking to people nearby feel really cool. The server is optimized so it runs stable and they use anticheat but it is not super in your face. It mainly tries to stop cheaters and keep things fair for normal vanilla players.

This is a small KitPVP server that is all about crazy custom kits and goofy fights. The owner has been working on it with friends for like four years on and off and they keep making new kits based on stuff from shows and other pop culture.
The main goal is combat and testing wild ideas. A new kit can be made super fast but then they spend hours playtesting it so it actually feels cool to use. Some kits are probably overpowered on purpose and the whole thing feels kind of chaotic in a fun way.
There are kits like an Uchiha style kit that can summon fake players and phase through attacks and a Yoshikage Kira style kit that puts bombs on people and blows them up. There are also things like an ice mage kit a skulker type kit and a rocketeer kit along with a bunch more. In total there are around 36 custom made kits each with different strengths and weaknesses.
The server does not seem super sweaty. The owner literally says they are just bored and looking for players and they also say the maps look bad right now and they would love help building. So it feels more like a casual place to hang out try dumb combos and help test new ideas instead of a ranked hardcore server.
If you want a chill place to mess around with custom abilities and do fights that feel like random anime battles this server is pretty much that.

KitsuneCraft is a peaceful Bedrock survival realm where people chill and explore a calm world with dragons. The world feels soft and bright and it is made for players who like to wander around collect things and slowly build their own little base.
There are dragons roaming around and you can focus on finding them and taming them if you want. There are also custom mob heads and other small fun extras plus plushies and custom biomes so the world does not feel like a normal plain map.
The server keeps inventory on so it feels relaxed and not super hardcore. The staff are described as kind and responsive and the community sounds warm and friendly so it is good if you just want a calm place to hang out.
You can take your time set your own pace and just enjoy the journey without pressure.

Lumenor SMP is starting its second season and it feels like a fresh world to explore again. The server is all about survival and playing together with other people who just want to have fun.
There are two mini games right at spawn so you can mess around with friends when you join. The server runs on version 1.21.11 with plugins that let people on other versions join too.
The world is not normal Minecraft. There are custom biomes and crazy terrain with different structures like dungeons and towers. The caves are bigger and better so exploring underground is actually exciting.
The plugins make the world feel more interesting and kind of spice everything up. It feels like survival but with extra stuff to discover and new places to explore.
