Summer2014 is a vanilla server for people who were looking for a place to realize their creative ideas, survive and casually explore the world of Minecraft or just meditative gameplay surrounded by friends.
The administration values the efforts, time and soul of players invested in their own projects, so no wipes of the Main World are planned on the server. Also, significant buildings in the worlds of the Nether and the End will be restored after periodic wipes of these dimensions.
In addition, for comfort and immersion in the gameplay, we adhere to several more ideas:
Keeping vanilla mechanics
We tried to preserve the official concept of Minecraft, conceived by the game developers, in order to give players an original gaming experience. Complementing the gameplay with convenient multiplayer mechanics, we preserved important elements of vanilla Minecraft, for example, the mechanics of moving around the world to interact with players: there are no homies on the server, the player can only teleport to spawn and clan hom. In this way, we motivate players to use the mechanics of overcoming large distances through hyperloops in the Nether.
Lack of private territories
For full immersion and feeling of being a part of the huge world of Minecraft, there is no way to privatize your territory on the server. Any buildings on the map are available to all participants and your gameplay is limited only by the general rules of the server and the rules established by the owner of the territory.
Resource-based economy
Continuing the idea of preserving vanilla mechanics, there is no third-party virtual currency on the server. All resources that come into the in-game economy must be mined directly by players. In such a system, it is obvious to use diamonds and diamond blocks as the main currency, since this resource is the most balanced in the complexity of mining at different stages of development of individual players and can only be obtained as a result of mining and exploration of the world.
Safety
There are several means of protection for the safety of players and maintaining the balance of the economy on the server. Starting with account protection and anti-cheat, ending with logs of all player actions with the ability to roll back ratings and a system of punishments.
User interface system
We have rethought the interaction of the player with the server. Now you do not need to know dozens of commands to perform common actions. All interaction with the server occurs through an intuitive graphical interface, in which you can also get useful information for the game.
Lack of privileges
On the project, everyone is on equal terms, no privileges or donations.
