I found a multiplayer server that runs a realistic hardcore modpack set in a post apocalyptic world. Technology is gone and nature has taken over so it feels like the world got pushed back into the stone age.
The goal is to survive and slowly progress to bring civilization back. Dying is a big deal because you cannot set a spawnpoint. When you respawn it can be anywhere in a 50000 block radius so bases end up spread out across the world.
The pack includes thirst and temperature plus seasons and sanity. It also has physics and enhanced AI with true darkness. There is also random restart and it uses Ytech and Create. The server is included with the modpack so you join through that and help shape the story.
