This is a 1.20.1 and updating server, with an emphasis on fair moderation (appeals, and punishment only for true rulebreaks), extreme longevity (absolutely NO resets, you could play here for years!) and welcoming inclusivity of all people and playstyles. Our vanilla+ modpack with many optimisers ensures minimal client-side lag. Server-side, we have 16 gigs of ram + dedicated processor cores up to 4.8 GHz and featuring 4 vCores of a Ryzen 9 5950X CPU.

The server operates on a Safezone-Borderlands system, where a continuously expanding 4k-radius area centred on spawn has claims, graves and disallows (unless with consent) griefing, killing and stealing. The Borderlands is much more resource-rich but allows griefing, killing and stealing and has no claims or graves. A big update is coming to the Borderlands, which adds lore centred on dead gods and adds a territory system where you can take over areas in the Borderlands for power and wealth.

THE ORIGINS MOD!

We have a very special mod, the [Origins](https://modrinth.com/mod/origins) mod! Along with the 9 base origins, we have roughly 55 custom origins, all carefully reviewed so that we can make sure each one is balanced, unique and well designed! You can even suggest custom origins, but it’ll have to be high quality. Of course, if you don’t like this mod, or don’t like your current origin, you can always pick Human or use your free two changes/craft an origin change.

There’s many teams you can join, or even make yourself. Be it the anti-war neutral group Cafe 24; the Record Keepers, dedicated to keeping a document of the extensive history of the server and the creation of a museum or the bigoted Aquatic Alliance, extremely Originist against ‘Terrestrioids’ and ‘Bathbombs’, ruthless slave masters (not villagers! real players!), planning to flood the entire Borderlands.

    I found StarBorne and it is a sci fi story survival server that works on crossplay. The idea is that Earth got ruined by wars and chaos so the last survivors got sent to a new planet called Alpha Centauri.

    You are supposed to regrow civilization by making towns and building a base. You can explore unique structures and try to make this new world feel like home.

    The terrain is made to be inspiring but still good for survival. There is also custom music to help the world feel more immersive. This is Chapter 1 called Alpha Centauri and it is season 1.

    There is a big mall called Arcadia and you can use the shop command to visit it. Since the server is new you get the highest rank called Pioneer forever for free when you join.

    It is meant to be simple with some quality of life features and a focus on survival.

    The world is meant to last. There are no resets and no land protection. PvP is on and griefing and raiding are allowed so you have to watch your back.

    It runs on always online dedicated hardware in Australia. It is built for low lag for Australian and New Zealand players. There is no pay to win and no monetisation and you will not get asked for donations.

    If you want long term survival with no ranks no teleporting and no admin interference this server is basically that. You can build far out or fight at spawn and whatever you do can leave a real mark.

    There are no land claims and no forced factions. You can build trade explore and team up. PvP can happen but it needs a clear reason and random killing and griefing are not allowed.

    The server uses Simple Voice Chat so people actually talk. It runs on Java Edition 1.21.10 and the rules are community driven for players who want a stable SMP.
