CozyCraft SMP is a survival server where people actually stay and keep what they build. It is made for players who like chill long term worlds and want to work on big projects.
The gameplay is survival with some quality of life datapacks and plugins. There are cosmetics you can grind for but nothing pay to win. There are no land claims so the server is built on trust and respect between players.
Players use a shopping district where diamonds are the main currency. There are separate resource worlds that reset every few months so the main world can stay nice and not get destroyed. There is also a creative plots server that is linked to the survival chat so people can talk while they test builds.
The community is small and active with a few people on most of the time. You have to apply to get whitelisted but the application is short and most people get approved fast.

This server is called The New Dawn SMP and it is a vanilla plus survival world. It feels like the Hermit style where players focus on building cool stuff and working together.

Determinacy is a Minecraft server that tries to be as close to real vanilla as possible. It is built around the idea of playing with no rules so you just log in and do whatever you want.
The server has been running since June 3 2020 and the plan is to keep it up for a really long time. It is not about getting a crazy amount of players. It is more about having a world that just keeps going where players can leave their mark.
You can play PvE or PVP because nothing is really restricted. There are no special modes explained and no extra features listed. It is just normal Minecraft survival in version 1.21.10 but with total freedom.

This is a seasonal SMP that is back for its fifth time and it feels like a comfy place to play. The server is running the MC Eternal 2 modpack on Minecraft 1.20.1 and they are using version 1.2.0.3 of the pack.
The whole vibe is relaxed and very community focused. It feels like a good spot if you want a long term home to grind through a big modpack or if you bring a few friends and just want a stable place to play together.
The server is strictly 18 plus and they expect people to be kind respectful and at least a little mature. The rules are kept simple so nothing super strict but you are clearly supposed to act like an adult.
They also have optional proximity voice chat using Simple Voice Chat so people who like more roleplay or funny random moments can turn that on. If you do not want voice you can still play just fine.

Iperios is a survival server where players build nations and fight for power. It feels a bit like a mix of war and politics because you do not just live alone. You create a nation or join one and then you can make your own government and your own laws and ranks.
The server is all about geopolitics. There are resource camps that your nation can conquer. When you control them you start getting special geopolitical resources. These help your nation grow and expand into new territories. There are many different resources and buildings you can work toward and there is a full list and active support on their discord.
McMMO is a big part of the combat so the more you play the stronger your skills get. You can also use custom enchants to get better gear for wars. Other plugins like Dynmap and GriefPrevention help with exploring and protecting your stuff. There is also SilkSpawner and standard survival tools like Essentials.
To get in you first join their discord and ask for whitelist. After that you get the server info and a staff member guides you when you join. New players get a beginner kit so you are not totally lost. Then you are free to build your nation or help someone else rule the world.
