SqueejCraft.com is a hard difficulty, semi-vanilla smp server built to respect Mojang’s vision by ensuring that the raw vanilla experience remains intact without sacrificing server functionality or gameplay quality. With an epic world border, buffs to view distance, simulation distance, entity tracking ranges and so on, we’re obsessed with getting the most out of our hardware to bring you one of the best vanilla multiplayer experiences in a small server network. SqueejCraft has everything you would want from a semi-vanilla server, including set homes, land claims, mineable spawners, chest shops, collectable mob heads, a server market, and much more. The community is friendly, inviting, and over half a decade old, so don’t hesitate to stop in and say hi. The server was designed with future-proofing in mind, only using software from active developers, making it easy for us to update to newer mc versions.

    Legendary Hardcore is a hardcore SMP where death means you are out for good. There are no map resets and there are no revives so every risk feels serious. A lot of players have joined over its first year and tons have died trying to survive.

    It stays completely vanilla but uses plugins to make hardcore more interesting. You can get player heads and you can access dead players ender chests. It also has Simple Voicechat and advanced player statistic tracking plus more.

    The world feels like a real story because everything is player led and not scripted. People make bases and alliances then it all can fall apart when someone dies. There is even a player maintained wiki that tracks the history and a page for every player who joined lived and died.

    They also have an interactive map of the spawn region that shows changes over time. It supports 1.21.11 on Java Edition and Bedrock Edition.

    The server has lots of quality of life stuff so it stays fun. You can catch and sell legendary fish. Try your luck with crates. Use the server shop or make your own shop. Take jobs to get paid for playing and level them up. You can level up McMMO too. They also just launched around 25 quests as a new test and more is planned later.

    I found EchelonMC and it feels like a survival server that actually cares about staying around. It is hand built by the owner and it has been worked on for months with updates every week. They say it is made from scratch and it is not a copied setup.

    It is a custom survival world focused on long term building real progression and a strong community. It is hosted in Canada. There is no pay to win and they do not plan to reset the main world.

    You earn a currency called Echelites just by playing like mining farming fishing exploring and building. There is advanced land claiming with visual borders and lots of settings so big builds stay safe. There are teams with member tools and team chat.

    There is also a path system where walking can form paths and give speed bonuses if you want it on. You can list public builds so people can visit vote and climb rankings for rewards. If you die your stuff goes into a timed grave with recovery rules.
