Spugunke is a new semi vanilla SMP that is all about community and long term survival. The world just started so early players get to shape how everything looks and feels.
The server is focused on player made towns and teams. You can build a town or join one and work on shared bases farms and huge projects. Some teams might focus on pvp or exploration or grinding resources. If you like playing alone that is fine too. The server supports both competitive and relaxed play styles.
Rules are relaxed but still fair. Griefing stealing and random killing are not allowed. Pvp is only allowed when everyone agrees so fights are organized and not chaotic. Town or team battles can still happen if both sides want it.
Spawn is supposed to become a shared community area with player builds and places to hang out. People are social and often play at the same time and sit in voice calls while they mine and build so it feels like a real group.
The server supports full Java and Bedrock crossplay so players on different platforms can play together. It uses only vanilla enhancing plugins like tpa sethome and spawn plus protection and discord connection to keep gameplay close to normal survival.
There is an End event planned for later so players can gear up together. The server is also looking for more moderators as the community grows.

HermitiaSMP is a small independent survival server that is all about community and working together with players from around the world.
The server runs weekly events so things stay fresh and new people can jump in fast. Events can be in game and also real life and even art competitions.
There is optional proximity voice chat so you can talk to people while you play. It also has event houses and community builds where you can join a house and earn points for it.
The gameplay stays close to vanilla but it adds a custom HermitiaSMP datapack plus some quality of life mods. For safety it uses anti grief plugins like CoreProtect.

I found Aelythera and it is a 16+ Minecraft roleplay server that is trying to be new and upcoming. The big focus is meeting new people and playing characters with lots of planned events.
The lore starts in a normal world called Koriam with different regions and cultures plus steampunk technology. Then a scary thing called The Great Vanishing happened and people disappeared like they got teleported. Now it is happening again and your character is one of the people taken.
You get dropped into a new world with magic and ruins from an old civilization. Your old life in Koriam does not matter anymore so you start over. A lot of the server is about discovery like learning your new power and finding a home then trying to rediscover the technology you lost. Making tools and inventions is supposed to be hard.
