Spugunke is a new semi vanilla survival server that is all about community and long term worlds. It just started so new players can actually help shape the map and be there from the beginning.
Most of the server is about player made towns and teams. People can start towns build shared bases make farms and work on big projects together. You can join teams that like pvp or exploring or grinding resources. You can also play solo if you want and still be part of the world.
Rules are relaxed but still fair. Griefing stealing and random killing are not allowed. Pvp only happens when both sides agree. Town or team wars can happen but only if everyone involved wants it so it stays fun instead of toxic.
Spawn is meant to be a real community place not just a tiny start hut. Players can build there and hang out so it feels like a main city where people meet and talk.
The server supports full crossplay between Java and Bedrock so friends on different platforms can join the same world. It uses simple vanilla style plugins like tpa sethome spawn CoreProtect and Discord integration so the game still feels like normal survival but easier to live in.
There is an End event planned for later so people can gear up together for it and there are mod spots open as the community grows.

Astral Swords is a hardcore vanilla SMP where you only get one life and every move feels scary.
I saw players working together and also going solo and both ways look super intense. There are no fancy extras so it is just you and Minecraft and the world trying to kill you.

PeaMC is a pure survival server that feels like old school Minecraft. There is no teleport so you actually walk and explore the world. There are no land claims and no weird plugins in your face so it feels a lot like singleplayer but with other players around.
The server is vanilla style and PvP is allowed so you can still fight people. But there are clear rules about no griefing and no stealing. You cannot destroy other peoples bases or kill their pets or take items from their builds. Spawn killing is not allowed either.
They also ban hacks and exploits and you are not allowed to use destructive PvP like respawn anchors end crystals or minecart PvP because that can wreck builds. So fights are meant to be fair and not just blowing everything up.
Crossplay works between Java and Bedrock on a wide range of versions. You can make teams and invite your friends and build together. The owner and staff are active both in game and in Discord and the community is described as chill and friendly.

Aechronis is a new Minecraft server that is about big wars and politics. It is set during the time before the Franco Prussian War so the whole world is focused on Europe and nearby regions.
On this server players build nations and fight weekly wars. You battle other countries across Europe the Near East and North Africa. It is about planning attacks taking land and working together as a team.
There are custom era style weapons that you can craft like old rifles. They are made with cool 3D models so fights feel more like real history but still Minecraft.
The world has a dynmap and a claim system. You capture land using a node system and then you can see everything update live on the map. It makes wars and borders feel more real.
You can also grow your nation with a tier system. You mine for resources and upgrade your town to get more income and become stronger over time.
The server runs on version 1.21.8 and is planned to open on January 24 so it is pretty fresh and new.

This is a semi vanilla survival server where the owner and some friends built their own custom features. The code is made for this server only and most of the textures are made by the community so it still looks like normal Minecraft but with their own style.
