This is a Minecraft server called Split SMP and it runs big civilization style events.
Every month or two they start a new season with a different twist. For Season 4 they are doing a Maze Runner inspired event. Players get split into four different teams and the whole thing happens over 7 days so it feels really intense and fast.
In past seasons they had around 150 to 250 players and now they are trying to hit 500 players for this season. Over 200 people already applied so it seems pretty active and busy.

Minemist is a small Java server on 1.21.11 that opened on November 25th 2025. It is hosted in Sydney Australia so it is a nice spot for Asia Pacific players who hate high ping.
The main vibe is Towny with nations and war plus a server story. There is an entity called Misty who is watching and trying to understand humanity. You are basically living in a simulated civilization where you can join or start a town then grow into a nation and fight for control of the map.
War is used for politics more than chaos. Only nations can declare war on towns and if they win they can occupy your town or plunder money. You can also talk it out and join a nation to avoid war.
Raiding items from chests and breaking crops can happen but destructive griefing is not allowed. Staff can roll back damage if it happens so builds are still meant to be safe overall.
