Spells Gears n Bells RP is a modded fantasy and steampunk style Minecraft server. It mixes magic and machines so you can mess with cool spell mods and contraptions at the same time.
The server uses mods like Create and Iron’s Spells and Spellbooks plus Incendium and more so the world feels way more alive and dangerous. It also has a bunch of datapacks like Origins Datapack Stellarity and new dungeon datapacks so your character and the world feel different from normal Minecraft.
You join the land of Mystodia with an original character that you create yourself. You can explore the world meet other players and discover what the land and its people have to offer. You can help build or break the mysteries of this place and help shape the lore as it keeps growing and changing.
Roleplay is the main focus of the server so it is the foundation of how people play but you do not have to stay in character all the time. You can chill out of character too as long as you respect the roleplay vibe.

Hardcore Anarchy Server With TNT Traps
I found this hardcore server and it feels like an anarchy place with around 16 players sometimes. It is the kind of world where you do not know who is running stuff. People were saying hacks and xray are not allowed and you can get banned automatically but it still feels sketchy.
I went super far from spawn to make a base because I do not trust anyone. Some players started talking about some weird thing and it made the server feel like there is a mystery going on. Then someone asked where I was and I refused to say so I tried to meet at set coordinates instead.
When I got close I saw two of them and one pulled out a fishing rod. Right after that I heard a break sound and the server lagged like crazy and a circle of TNT started falling from the sky. They said it was some kind of redstone machine and they talked about building it far away.
Now it feels like a grind server where you have to stay careful and expect fights. Sometimes it looks like the server is sleeping so you have to join to wake it up. This is a laid back Java modded server run by a couple friends who want more 18+ players to join in. There are around 7 to 8 regulars and the goal is to grow into a bigger chill group.

I found a Minecraft network project that is trying to bring back a classic style server setup. The goal is to have a hub that connects to different game modes so it feels like one big place.
It is planned to include factions and survival and prisons. The person making it has hosted SMP before but this time they want linked servers like a real network.

I found a modded SMP that is all about geopolitics on an Earth style map. It uses a Create based modpack with lots of addons and extra mods like Superb Warfare Agricraft and Simple Planes.
The main idea is to found your own country and try to grow it. There is a land claim system so you can claim a country for yourself as long as it is not already taken. You can also bring friends and run it together.
