This server is just straight up survival with chaos. It is vanilla and the world is super old and will never be reset so everything you do stays forever.
Griefing is allowed and PvP is always on so you really can not trust anyone. There are no teleports like /RTP or /TPA so you have to walk everywhere and explore the world the normal way.
Cheats like hacking and duping are not allowed. You can say whatever you want because they allow free speech as long as it is not illegal stuff. There are no chat reports and the admins do not follow you around or bother you all the time.
It feels like Minecraft how it used to be played with danger all around and players making their own story.

CaveMC is a semi anarchy survival server where the entire overworld is underground. There is no surface at all. It is all caves and underground biomes and structures.
Right now it is Season 2 so everyone has a fresh start. The world feels like vanilla but with custom world generation made by real Minecraft developers. It still feels like Minecraft but way more intense.
Survival here is pretty brutal. You have to be smart and careful to stay alive. The server is semi anarchy so players can fight and things can get rough but it is not total chaos.
There is also a huge new area called the Wasteland Dimension. It is way more than a biome. It has special gear you can only find there plus giant mega structures with secrets and resources.
The Wasteland has its own currency and a new player economy so trading and deals matter a lot. There is a new spawn to fit the Wasteland theme and the map is custom generated with special features.

NvizionMC is a crossplay SMP server that has been open for about a month and it already feels pretty active. There are around 80 people in the community and usually like 15 players on every day so it does not feel empty at all.
The server is focused on simple survival with an economy. You can rent chest shops at spawn and sell or buy stuff from other players. There is a server shop too so you can spend the money you earn. Voting gives you 25 in game dollars each day and you can save it up for bigger things.
You can claim land so your home is safe right away. There is RTP so you can find a spot to build fast. The server also has cosmetics and rank and key giveaways so people who stick around get cool extra stuff.

This is a public survival server that has been running for a long time and it feels really stable and chill. It is mostly vanilla and there is no pay to win stuff at all so everyone plays fair.
You can claim land for grief protection and there is CoreProtect to watch what happens on the server. Grief is allowed only if a place is not claimed so if you want to stay safe you just claim your area. There is no whitelist so anyone can join and start playing.
The server supports both Java and Bedrock and uses the default ports. You spawn randomly pretty far out and you can use rtp to find a nice spot and then set a home. There is no set world border and the overworld and nether are long term and are not going to be reset or wiped.

This is an Origin Anarchy style SMP where everyone has to pick a different origin. No one is allowed to be the same origin so every player ends up with a unique playstyle. It is all about pvp and base building with a lot of chaos.
The server has more than 100 different origins you can choose from. Because no origin can repeat it makes fights and team ups feel really different every time. You get a new type of pvp and survival where your powers and your downsides really matter.
There are server wide events that let you buff your origin or make it easier to use. Sometimes you can reduce a bad downside. Sometimes you can get new weapons. You can even change your origin to an exclusive one during certain events.

EmberSteal SMP is a server that mixes ideas from Lifesteal Strength SMP and Infuse SMP into one world.
When you kill a player you either steal one of their hearts or you steal one of their effect bundles. There is also a third special mechanic that is planned so fights are not just about gear but also about what you can take.
You can craft your own effect bundles and stack them. Eating the same bundle upgrades it from level 1 to 2 and then 2 to 3. All of this runs on custom datapack effects so it feels different from normal survival.
Progression feels fast but still balanced because almost everything can be stolen and drops as embers when you die. So nobody is ever totally safe and every fight matters.
The server is planned for Java and maybe Bedrock and there is simple voice chat so people can talk while they play or raid or test stuff. The owner is looking for people who want to join and help test the mechanics before and around the launch in mid December.
