This server is called Sparked and it is a long term dedicated SMP. It is all about building and hanging out with people in a mature adult environment. The players all come from different backgrounds but they play kind of like Hermitcraft while still trying to stay original.
When you join it feels very vanilla and very simple on purpose. There are no giant walls of text and no constant pop up messages. There are no warps and no land claims and only a few quality of life changes. It really feels like you just joined a world that a friend started for fun.
The admins stay involved with the community and they work to keep the server running well. The server is trust based but there are mods in the background that can protect builds if something bad happens. The owners also try to be transparent about server costs server specs and bans.
They use some Vanilla Tweaks style datapacks like more mob heads armor stands stuff proximity voice, a map tool and player heads. The whole thing is focused on a relaxed mature social SMP where you can build and play for a long time.
