NerdNu Vanilla Survival PvE And Creative
NerdNu is a medium sized Minecraft community that tries to feel like mostly vanilla survival again. It is one of the oldest public multiplayer servers around and it focuses a lot on people actually knowing each other.
The PvE server is on 1.21.10 and it is survival without player vs player combat so you only worry about mobs. People team up to build towns and big cities and the PvE map was reset on September 19th. There are also Friday and Saturday games nights where players host stuff like spleef and ice boat races and there is a huge horse race event too.
The Creative server is open world with a mix of natural terrain and world painted areas. You can protect your builds and WorldEdit is free to use. Creative runs on 1.21.8 and started Revision 38 on June 22 2024. It also has community events like spleef and speed build on alternating Saturdays.

HomesteadCraft is a Java survival server for adults only 21 plus. It is made to be chill with no drama and no kids. The main world has been running for about 4 years and it does not reset. It only expands when updates happen so people can build huge projects over time.
It runs on Java 1.21.10 with a few quality of life plugins. There is one player sleep and the difficulty is normal. There are also things like aura skills and a loot plugin plus anti grief claims.
There are resource worlds for the overworld and nether and the End. The End resets weekly so you can keep going for loot. There is a player run shopping district and a gaming island. WesterCraft is a modded Java SMP that feels like a Game of Thrones style roleplay world. The big wars are over but the realm is not united so players jump into politics and power plays.
People can lead their own House and try to grow influence stability and royal favor. It sounds like power is earned and you can win by smart deals or by making enemies.
The map is a hand crafted Westeros world with places like the Riverlands the North and Dorne. The server is whitelist only so they want quality players and an immersive community.

WhimsyWillow is a small community focused Minecraft server and Season 3 is live with a modded setup. The mods were picked by the community so it feels like everyone had a say.
The world has tons to explore with over 100 biomes using Biomes O Plenty and Terratonic plus lots of structures. It also has the Create mod so you can build machines and set up big projects as long as it stays reasonable.
There is a BlueMaps world map so you can look around the world. Progression is made more fun with more ores and new tools and weapons.
Spawn is kept looking nice and there is a shop district with custom player shops that can sell anything they want. The server also tries to run events and they always want suggestions to keep things fair balanced and enjoyable.
