Solarion SMP is an 18+ whitelisted Java survival server that is trying to feel like a real long term world. It is inspired by Hermitcraft and it is made for people who want to build big projects and actually know the other players.
Season 7 started with a fresh world reset on 01/09/2026 so there is lots of room to explore and start new bases. The seasons usually last around 6 to 8 months so you can take your time with mega builds farms and progress.
There are community districts and player made stuff like minigames parkour puzzles and server events. They also do collaborations and shared projects and the roleplay moments are natural not forced.
It runs on Java 1.21.x and it has things like optional proximity voice chat a live BlueMap and CoreProtect for rollback instead of land claims. I found a one day Minecraft event where everyone gets a totally random item from the game registry. It can be anything from strange debug stuff to normal blocks like dirt. The point is to deal with whatever you get and see what happens.
It is happening on Sunday February first at 3pm EST. It is hosted on a dedicated external server and the host says it is set up to be really hard to mess with using hacks or backdoors.

Minemist is a small Java server on 1.21.11 that opened on November 25th 2025. It is hosted in Sydney Australia so it is a nice spot for Asia Pacific players who hate high ping.
The main vibe is Towny with nations and war plus a server story. There is an entity called Misty who is watching and trying to understand humanity. You are basically living in a simulated civilization where you can join or start a town then grow into a nation and fight for control of the map.
War is used for politics more than chaos. Only nations can declare war on towns and if they win they can occupy your town or plunder money. You can also talk it out and join a nation to avoid war.
Raiding items from chests and breaking crops can happen but destructive griefing is not allowed. Staff can roll back damage if it happens so builds are still meant to be safe overall.
There are extra systems like jobs a culture system progression ranks enchantment tweaks MCMMO chest locks an auction house player warps and player vaults. HomesteadCraft is a Java SMP for adults only 21 plus. It is meant to be calm with no drama and no kids. The main map is about 4 years old and it does not reset so people can keep building huge projects and it only grows with new updates.
The server runs on Java 1.21.10 and it has a few quality of life plugins. Stuff like one player sleep and some skills and better loot. There is also anti grief claims and most plugins can be toggled off if you want a more vanilla feel.
There are separate resource worlds for the overworld and nether and the End. The End resets weekly so players can keep doing runs. It is normal difficulty and there is a player run shopping district plus a Gaming Island. Movecraftia also called WarshipCraft is a server that is built around Movecraft first. It is focused on making huge ships and moving them for real. There is even a screenshot showing engines at full throttle with smoke so you can see the craft working.
The server is operational but still in beta. Most bugs are said to be patched and they are working on balance plus shops. There is a current shop you can use in game.
The world is a 1 to 4500 scale Earth map and it has IRL accurate ore distribution. The staff team is active and they say they do not use anticheat software. Cheating is the one rule they enforce hard and the rest can be flexible for RP with fun penalties sometimes. They also say they do not censor builds.
