SnowFallSMP is a chill semi vanilla SMP that feels really cozy and friendly. When I joined I noticed there are usually a good amount of people on and everyone seems pretty relaxed. The server is Java 1.21.10 and it has a simple mod and datapack setup so it still feels like normal Minecraft but a bit smoother for multiplayer.
The world is meant to be long term with no resets so people can work on big projects without worrying about losing them. There are all kinds of players like village builders cave people explorers collectors grinders and fighters. The community is very accepting and is LGBTQ plus friendly and it is for players who are 16 or older.
The rules are simple but strict enough to keep things safe. No griefing no stealing no hacking or cheating no abusing bugs and no pvp unless everyone agrees. People are expected to respect other players builds community areas staff and the server hardware. There is no NSFW stuff allowed and they do not want content creation on the server.
They use a short application to join so they can avoid bots and scam accounts and make sure new players actually fit in. Staff is active and focused on keeping the server safe from people who just want to cause problems. Overall it feels like a small cozy SMP where you can slowly build and hang out with others without drama.

PurpleSMP is a small chill survival server where people just want to build and relax without anyone ruining their stuff. It runs a simple PvE style so you do not have to worry about random players attacking you unless you turn PvP on yourself.
Your builds are really safe here. The server logs every block that is placed or broken so staff can see exactly what happened. Every time you join or leave or even die your inventory gets backed up. If someone breaks the rules and you lose items staff can restore them.
The server uses mcMMO so you can level up skills and feel stronger over time. There are land claims with GriefPrevention so you can easily protect your base. There are personal PlayerVaults when your normal inventory gets too full. You can even look at the world from a web map using Bluemap which feels like looking at Google Maps of the server.
The server is crossplay so you can join on different platforms. There is a strong anti cheat running and when it catches something staff get alerts right away and the plugin reacts until a staff member can check it. The PurpleSMP world started as a friends server and is now open to the public and they say it is a forever world they do not plan to reset.

This is a Solo Leveling inspired Minecraft survival RPG server. It is built around progression and grinding so your character actually feels stronger over time.
The server has gates and dungeon portals where you fight custom magic beasts and clear instanced dungeons. There is a class style system so you can build your own character. Gear goes from E rank up to S rank and you get stronger by hunting crafting and trading.
There is town survival with a kingdom feel where players can claim land and build cities. The world uses a big earth style map and also has extra generated worlds to explore.
The server is set up as no pay to win so your progress is earned by playing not by buying stuff. It is grindy but still friendly for casual players so you can play at your own pace. There are events guilds and group PvE activities so both solo grinders and group players have things to do.

The Collective is a free to play community server where players help decide what happens next. The server runs with a modpack and when you finish certain tasks you get a say in the next direction. That can be a new modpack or even a whole new world. It feels like the world keeps changing based on what the players do.
There is a story going on with a god like being called The Collector. This god tries to make life harder by using disciples. You can pick a side like Echo Fall and fight the tyranny or join The Collector or just go your own way. It feels like a roleplay story but still chill and open.
The server is run by a small friend group that has been playing together for around a year. They already have worlds with scars and builds that show their history. They are starting a fresh Cobblemon server on 1 16 2026 so it is a good time to join if you want a new world.
There is also an Artifact System where special items can be carried between worlds. It makes some items feel really important and part of the story.
The server feels like a place for people who like stories and long term worlds and who want their choices to matter.

Bone Voyage MC is a pirate themed world with a really cozy and friendly community. It feels like an old school SMP where people just hang out and build a history together.
The server does not wipe so everything you build and every adventure you go on stays. It is meant to be a long term place where you can always come back and see what changed.
There is RPG style progression with custom items and dungeons being worked on. The server also has an improved skyblock mode that connects with the rest of your progression so it feels like part of the same journey.
They have custom mobs and items and they keep adding more. Recently they added sharks to the oceans and new crafting recipes that use shark materials.
Right now they are building a big custom fishing system. It has more than fifteen kinds of fish with different tiers plus a fishing shop new materials and new cooking and crafting recipes. There is also a whole Fisherman’s Guild being made to go with it.
The server is not pay to win. Any cosmetics or quality of life stuff are just for fun and do not give unfair advantages.
Updates seem really regular and there is already a lot planned for the next year. If you want a pirate flavored SMP with a chill community and long term progress this server is built for that.
