SmokeyMC is a survival Towny server where players build and grow towns together. Some towns can be peaceful and chill while others can go to war so you can pick the style you like.
The server uses playtime based ranks and jobs so you level up just by playing more. There are MCMMO skills that make your character feel stronger over time. There are player made shops and an in game balance so the economy is run by the community.
You can explore custom terrain and use rtp plus there are separate resource and flat worlds for gathering and building. There is also an online server map that lets you track towns and battles which makes the world feel more alive.
The server supports both Java and Bedrock cross play. It runs on Minecraft version 1.21.10 and aims for lag free gameplay. There is optional Discord voice chat for people who want to talk while they play.
There are fun monthly events so the server does not get boring and the community keeps having stuff to do.

This is an anarchy style server called MinecraftOffline and the whole thing is based on a permanent map that never resets. The world just keeps going so anything you build or destroy can stay there for a long time.
The server runs on version 1.21.10 and it has its own custom plugin suite so it is not just plain vanilla. It is hosted in Finland so it is really good for European players that want low ping and smooth gameplay.
The hardware is also pretty strong with a XEON processor fast NVMe SSDs a lot of RAM and a 1 Gbit network. It is made to handle a lot of action and long term worlds without falling over.

This is a simple server where you just join if you want to.
There is no huge story or anything crazy. It just feels like a place to hop on and play when you feel like it.
The server gives off chill vibes and does not look super serious. It seems good if you just want to relax and mess around in Minecraft without a lot of rules being yelled at you.

So I found this new server called GeoSMP and it is a vanilla Earth style world. It is really new and the owners worked super hard on it so it feels really balanced and fun.
Right now they just want more players of all ages to join and help grow the community. It is a nice place if you want a fresh start on a server that could turn into something big.

This is a modded Pixelmon server that has been around since 2014. It runs on version 1.16.5 which is known as a really stable Pixelmon version.
The server has a big focus on custom content. There are different textures species and locations plus a sense of progression and a bunch of cosmetics and activities. It feels like there is always something new going on in the Obscuros Region.
They run special events like a Thanksgiving Feast and a huge Halloween event called Halloweentown. The server tries to stay fresh with frequent updates and new features.

Campfire SMP is a small 18 plus server that wants to last for years and not just a few weeks. The world started in September 2025 and the goal is to never reset. It is semi vanilla with a whitelist so it feels like a real survival world and not a minigame hub.
The server runs on Purpur 1.21.9 and is self hosted 24 7 in Las Vegas. There are some plugins and data packs that add quality of life and admin tools but it still feels like normal survival. There is no tpa or home so you actually travel and build roads and nether tunnels.
The world border is 20k by 20k so there is lots to explore and it will grow with big updates. Players have already built a shopping district with a diamond based economy plus nether highways a battle arena and a Christmas area. There is also a map you can look at and simple voice chat so people can talk while they play.
Most people on the server are in their 20s and some are in their 30s and 40s. Players hang out in voice chat a lot working on projects playing other games or just talking. It feels like a chill long term community where everyone is welcome as long as they are 18 plus and want a relaxed survival world.
