NoHack Anarchy Vanilla With Minimal Rules
This is a vanilla anarchy style server with minimal rules and a big focus on freedom. It has been running for almost a year so it feels established and lived in.
It supports both Java and Bedrock. Java works from 1.13 to 1.21.x and the recommended version is 1.21.11.
The rules are mostly about keeping things fair and keeping the server stable. Hacked clients cheats and xray are not allowed even xray resource packs. Exploiting server vulnerabilities is not allowed. Crashing or trying to lag the server is not allowed. Macros and automation tools are not allowed. Minemist is a small community SMP that is hosted in Sydney Australia. It is made for players who want an Oceania home and a fresh start together. The server runs on Java 1.21.11 and it opened on November 25th 2025.
The main vibe is Towny with geopolitics and war. It is not meant to be heavy griefing or nonstop PvP. People are pushed to form towns and grow little communities that can work together and argue over land and power.
There is a server story with an entity named Misty who watches what happens and shows up in different forms. The world has borders and the server has jobs a culture system progression ranks and MCMMO. You also get chest locks an auction house player warps and player vaults.
Enchanting is a big deal here since vanilla enchantments are craftable using culture tablets. There are three tablet types called Power Freedom and Balance and your culture decides what you can craft. You cannot get everything alone so trading matters.

Genesis Gaming Network is a growing Minecraft network that is trying to keep things fair and fun. The big deal here is no pay to win at all. There are no hidden donation ranks and no paid advantages.
Instead of buying perks you get time based ranks as you play more. It feels like they actually want you to earn stuff over time. They also say there is no locked content.
The community is small but tight and still growing. Staff is active and they say player feedback matters.
Right now they run a bunch of modpack servers like AllTheMons and ATM10 and All the Mods 10 To the Sky and Artifice and Industry and MC Eternal 2 and Homestead and Nightfall Craft. I found Banana Sandwich SMP Season 3 and it is an 18+ survival server on Java 1.21.11. The world is about 2 months in so you are not stuck in the early grind. There is already infrastructure and an active shopping area plus a safe Mushroom Island hub.
This server makes proximity voice chat required so people actually talk while playing and it feels more real. The economy is diamond based and it is all player run with shops.
It also has some nice extra stuff like invisible item frames custom armor stands and you can sit and ride. There is a Bluemap too so you can see the world. They say it is zero pay to win and more about chill building and teamwork.

Valatic is a Minecraft server that is opening up staff recruitment for new people who want to help out.
The server talks a lot about having a respectful staff culture. It is more about building a strong team that likes working together and helping the community grow.
They offer staff events for bonding and fun plus monthly gift card bonuses as a thank you. Leadership is active and there is clear structure with training and chances to grow.
