I found this modded server called Iperios and it is all about making nations. You can start your own nation and choose how it is run. You make your own government and your own laws and your own ranks. If that sounds like too much work you can just join someone else and help their nation grow.
The server runs the Allthemods10 modpack on version 5.3.1 so you need that to play. You have to join the server discord first and ask to get whitelisted. Then you read the new player info to get the IP and some basic tips.
When you first join a staff member helps you. They guide you so you know what to do and they give you a beginner kit. After that you are free to start building and join or create a nation.
The rules are not fully listed but it feels organized and pretty friendly because you talk to staff first and you have to get whitelisted. It seems like a good place if you like modded Minecraft with more politics and nations instead of just solo survival.

This server is hosting a big civilization style event with 100 players.
To join you have to submit an application. They are looking for people who really want to be part of the event not just randoms who leave right away.
The whole thing is focused on this one event. Everyone who gets in will be part of the same world and play together and see how the civilization grows.

So I found this Minecraft server called Delfinator and it is almost like an anarchy world but in Spanish.
The server is semi vanilla and there are almost no rules. The only rule that really matters is that you cannot use hacks like wallhack aimbot or godmode. Besides that you can do pretty much anything.
You can kill other players you can steal their stuff you can raid bases or just build your own house and chill if you want. People are free to camp run in teams big or small or live totally alone.
The community already has around 80 players so there are always people to fight or to team with. Chat can be pretty wild and people swear a lot so if you have soft humor this is not for you.
There is no age limit and no country limit. The only thing you really need is to speak Spanish. If you want a simple Minecraft survival world with lots of freedom and chaos this server fits that vibe.

Posalon is a Minecraft worldbuilding project where the community makes the story. The history is not written by one person. It is built by the players who join and actually do stuff on the server.
Here you can get into politics and help run a nation or even try to start your own. You can design planes tanks and ships using a movecraft plugin and then use them in real battles. You can use a brewery plugin to become a bartender and serve people.
You can also make your own religion and try to spread it across the world. Everything you do can end up saved in a wiki so your character and actions become part of the lore forever.
The server is not really about being average survival. It is more about creating a big saga of history together with the community.

Anthom SMP is a new vanilla survival server made for players in Australia and New Zealand. It runs all day and night and uses the latest 1.21 version.
The owner started it because most other servers give you really high ping. Here you can play with low lag and hang out with people in a similar time zone. The community is small right now but it is friendly and growing.
Players who like making videos or streaming are welcome too. The server wants more active players who just want to chill and play survival together.
