FrostboundSMP is a small semi vanilla server that is still pretty new. It is meant for players who are 18 or older and it is only for non binary players and people who identify as female. The vibe feels calm and welcoming and it is not super sweaty or hardcore.

From what I have seen most of the server is simple survival with a light semi vanilla style. They host weekly events so there is always something to look forward to and it helps people get to know each other better. The server is not crowded and the most people online at once so far was about eight but there are around thirty people in the community already.

If you want a place that feels more like a small friend group instead of a giant public server this one fits that pretty well. It is nice for players who just want to chill and build and hang out with other older players in a space made for non binary and women players.

This is a chill Java SMP that uses a vanilla plus style modpack. It feels like regular Minecraft but with a few extra things to make it more fun.

There is a claim system so your builds are safe and protected. PVP is allowed but only outside of claims so you do not lose your stuff in your own base. The server owner says the world will never reset so you can work on long term builds without worrying.

There are about ten active players right now and around twenty members total. It feels like a small and relaxed community where people just play and hang out together.

Ballistic SMP is a semi faction style Minecraft server that is built around combat and lore. The whole idea is that there are four special weapons and each one has its own abilities and its own story. There is also a unique armor set that is connected to those weapons and to the lore.

The server is trying really hard to be fair. They say there is no pay to win and they want a cheater free environment. It is meant to be a well run server that feels unique and not like every other copy paste SMP.

Right now the world is a 3k by 3k map and that might change later. There will be admin run events so players have stuff to do besides just grinding. Because the server is not open yet everyone who joins at the start will be on the same level and nobody will be super stacked already.

There is no set way you have to play. You can follow the lore and get into the story of the weapons and armor or you can just build the biggest army you can and try to rule the map. They are looking for about ten more players to start the SMP so it should feel like a tight small community.

I found this server called Cobblemon Eterna and it is trying to be a full Cobblemon MMORPG. They are working on competitive leagues and big long term stuff so it feels like a project that is just starting out.

Right now they are looking for volunteers. They need builders people who know configs and mods to help keep things running. It is a hobby project and all the positions are unpaid so it is more about having fun and being part of the founding team.

The project is in its first phase so you get to help build the foundation from the beginning. They want people who are passionate and want to help shape the server. The server will start in English so you need at least basic English to fit in.

If you like Cobblemon and want to build something epic from scratch this feels like the kind of place where you can do that with other people who are into the same thing.

MineRealm is a really old survival server that has been around since 2010 and a ton of players have already joined it. The world is smaller and grows over time so new land is always from the latest version. Everything is player built so you do not spawn into some giant prefab hub.

The server is semi vanilla and tries to feel like normal Minecraft but with a few smart upgrades. There is a classic plot system and grief protection so your builds stay safe. Staff use their own protection tools so people cannot just ruin your stuff.

There is no pay to win and no spawned items so the survival is fully legit. The world does not reset so your base is meant to last a long time. There is public infrastructure that players have made to help new people get started and to keep the world connected.

The server also has some unique features that run on custom plugins but it still keeps the main vanilla survival feeling. Overall it is a long running SMP with a tight community and a world that keeps growing without wiping everything you build.
