Campfire SMP is a whitelisted survival server for 18+ players that wants a long term world with no resets. It is made for a small community that actually sticks around and hangs out together.
The server is semi vanilla and tries to keep the real survival feel. There is no /tpa and no /home so you travel the normal way. It runs on Purpur 1.21.11 and it has a few plugins and data packs that are mostly quality of life and admin stuff.
People have already built up shared areas like a shopping district and a themed city shopping district. There are also nether highways plus an arena and mini games district. A lot of the community hangs out in voice chat while building or just talking.
It is self hosted 24/7 in Las Vegas and the world border is 60k by 60k with plans to expand it on major updates. It is modded but the mods are server sided so you do not need to download anything just to play. The server focuses on way better world generation and useful quality of life stuff and also proximity voice chat. Voice chat is optional but Java players need a download if they want to use it.
The vibe is relaxed with no mtx and no gambling and no crate stuff. It also tries to avoid over moderation and keep things simple.
