Skirn Worldbuilding Wars is a brand new survival world on 1.21.11 and it started on the 18th. It is a vanilla style server with a huge 50k by 50k world that can expand later and it is meant to be no resets.
The whole vibe is building up from early civilization then turning it into nations and wars. Players decide the economy and politics and the admins try to stay out of the way as much as possible.
It uses Lands for claiming and it has a custom fast travel system with sign warps so moving around can be easier when your world gets big.

I found a brand new Minecraft server that is trying to keep the economy fresh so it does not feel ruined by old money.
The whole server leans hard into Egyptian mythology. The builds match the theme and the crates and updates follow it too.

I found an EU lifesteal anarchy server called MinecraftOffline. It is about fighting and surviving where killing players can give you more hearts and dying makes you lose hearts.
If you run out of hearts you get banned. New players get a 1 hour grace period so they will not lose hearts right away.
It has simple commands like setting a home and sending teleport requests. PvP is taken serious because commands are blocked during fights and combat logging gets punished with a killable NPC that can drop your stuff.
There is also a vote skip night command. They track playtime kills and deaths and you can get rewards at milestones. There is an in game shop where vote tokens can buy custom name colors and custom MOTDs.

I found a modded Minecraft server running 1.20.1 that is built around fantasy progression and RPG stuff like races classes and leveling.
It is hosted on dedicated hardware in Europe Belarus and it also uses a proxy through Germany to help players from far away get better ping. The server says it holds around 20 tps on average.
The pack has RP Enhanced plus Lootr and Voice Chat. Teleports are restricted so you travel more using spells waystones and elytras. You start with free waystones and you can get free bandage kits every 12 hours.

The server has ValhallaMMO skills that level up while you play so it grows in the background as you mine build trade and fight. There are also playtime ranks that unlock more over time and a custom rank progression made for this server.
It also uses SimpleVoiceChat with proximity chat and group chat. PvP is consent based and land claims protect your builds. When you die your items go into a gravestone for hours so you do not lose a whole night of progress.

I found a small Minecraft server that is trying to stop the usual thing where everyone runs off alone and quits fast. The whole world is split into six civilizations and each one builds a shared area together so it feels more like a group project.
When new players join they spawn in a hub where each civilization made a mini version of their style. A staff member usually gives a quick tour and shows off cool builds and ongoing projects.
It has been running for a while and there are around 15 active players so a lot of places already have history. The vibe is not rushed and people mostly hang out build together and slowly expand their areas.
