Iperios is a modded server that uses the Allthemods10 ATM10 modpack version 5.4. The cool thing is that you can make your own nation on the server.
You get to choose your government style and set your own laws and ranks. If you do not want to make a nation you can just join one that already exists and play with other people.
To join you first get whitelisted in their discord. After that you get the server info and some starting details in the new player info channel.
When you finally log in a staff member meets you and helps you. They give you a beginner kit and guide you so you can start playing on the world right away.
You need to have the ATM10 modpack installed with version 5.4 or it will not work.

Sunset Retreat SMP is a seasonal vanilla plus world for players who are 18 or older. It is made for people who just want to relax after a long day and play Minecraft in a chill way.
The server is based in the EU and it runs like a normal survival world with only a few quality of life additions. There is voice chat and extra mob and player heads. There is also a map you can check in your browser and support for both Java and Bedrock players.
The community feels mature and welcoming. The owners actually play on the server and stay active with the players. It is whitelisted so people who join usually want to stay for a while and be part of the group.
Players trade with a diamond economy and run their own shops. You can buy and sell items and services to other players instead of using a random shop plugin. It feels like a classic SMP where you build your base and slowly grow with everyone else around you.

CollideCraft Time Zero is a semi vanilla SMP that feels like you crashed into a broken dimension. There is light lore and weird rift events coming so it is not just a normal survival world.
The server has an active community with around five to ten players on and they use factions and proximity chat so you will hear people close to you and make alliances or enemies. A lot of the plugins are chosen by players so the community really shapes how the server feels.
There are frequent events and some power like Strength V4 and there is more stuff hidden under the surface that you can discover by playing. Both Java and Bedrock players can join and it is made to feel almost seamless.
You can get on the whitelist and keep your spot so it feels like a stable world and not just a random realm. If you want a semi vanilla server with some story and an active group this server is pretty cool.

This is a really tough hardcore SMP that is all about building a real civilization over time. It is not open to everyone. You need an invitation code to join.
Only people who are already on the server can invite new players. This makes the population feel more natural and keeps away random trolls. It also means that if you get in you probably care about the server and the story.
There are secret tweaks and mechanics in the world. Nobody gives you a guide. You have to pay attention and learn everything by playing and exploring. It rewards players who are curious and who do not give up easily.
You never spawn totally alone. The server has a clan and family style system. When you join you are part of a group and part of a story that started before you and will continue after you. The server is made to feel like a long running civilization experiment and not just a short event.

NovaCraft Network is a new Minecraft server that is being built around fair progression and real player feedback. It does not feel pay to win and it looks like the staff actually care about balance.
Right now the main game modes are Skyblock BedWars and Survival. Skyblock is made for both casual players and people who like to compete. The progression is balanced and the economy is based on what players do instead of weird gimmicks.
BedWars has 2v2 and 4v4 maps so it works great for small groups of friends who just want to queue up a few games together.
Survival is on hard difficulty and plays like classic Minecraft. There are no over the top mechanics. It feels like normal survival but on a shared world.
The owners focus on fair progression active development and actually listening to community feedback. They also plan to add Lifesteal and Factions in the future as the network grows.
