It is a fresh world and the main idea is simple survival with other players.

Waychest is a custom survival server on Java 1.21.11 that keeps the vanilla client feel but adds its own systems for exploring and building.
The big idea is that everyone is in one shared survival world but you start in your own Journey. A Journey feels like your own little server with a random spawn and your own progress. You can bring friends and you can even make more than one Journey with different spawn points and different partners.
As you travel you learn you are not alone. Special Waychests are placed around the world to guide people toward each other and to stuff that other players left behind. Later you can craft and place your own Waychests to point future Journeys toward your builds.
There is also a Waychest Flight minigame where you craft an Elytra and fly through rings. If you finish it you get led to a Waychest made by some random person. All Outta Blocks just kicked off season 2 and it is built around community play. The server pushes you to meet people and actually do stuff together instead of hiding alone.
This season has a player driven economy with chest shops and mcmmo. The gameplay is meant to feel fun and rewarding and it focuses a lot on player interactions.
They want players to use proximity chat and to live near others in community villages. The discord is pretty big and the server seems active with players coming and going.

I found a modded server called Iperios that runs on Allthemods10 ATM10 version 6.1.
The main idea is nations. You can make your own nation and pick your government style. You can also set laws and ranks for your people. If you do not want to lead one you can join a nation that already exists.
