The Garden is a Java 1.21.11 survival multiplayer server that leans hard into worldbuilding adventure and roleplay. It runs a bunch of plugins that add flavor without turning it into pay to win stuff.
The main thing is the life system. You start with 3 lives and you only lose them through PvP. When you run out you become a ghost and from then on you are the only one who knows what is really past the veil.
Some vanilla features are disabled to fit roleplay better like elytra and ender chests so players build real infrastructure. You can lock chests using trial keys and craft lockpicks to break in. There are chest shops and you can brew alcohol and beers plus lots of quality of life changes.
When you join you wake up on the clouds and have to stick the landing. Then you descend the Monolith and pick a race like Human Halfling Orc Elf and more. You wake up on the docks of Isla De Viva Eterna and can sail out to find new lands or settle in a town with others. The vibe is meant to be relaxed with optional challenges and active staff and mods.
