This server is called Cobble and Commons and it is a survival multiplayer world that really wants to be all about the community. It is in beta and players are helping shape how everything works.
Right now they are running a Winter event. You can play to earn Christmas themed tools and some pets and other rewards just by joining and taking part in the event.
The server has a player driven economy. You can use a jobs plugin to make money and then use a shopkeepers plugin to set up your own stores and help build a full market run by players.
There is also an objective based rank system. You do tasks and objectives to rank up and every new rank gives you new rewards and features so your playtime actually feels like progress.
You can get custom items and cosmetics by just playing or by buying them with in game money from other players. There are no real money purchases at all.
The owner promises the server will be free forever with no paid ranks no donation goals and no pay to win stuff. The server is self hosted so it is not going to vanish because of money or low player count.
They support both Java and Bedrock so people on different platforms can still play together.

SJRCraft Season 7 is a semi vanilla SMP that feels really cozy and friendly. It is a small whitelisted server so every player gets checked before joining. That makes it feel safer and more focused on people who actually want to play together.
This season is winter themed and everything is about Christmas and snow. There are quests events decorations and a festive vibe all over the world. The staff plan weekly events like hide and seek build battles treasure hunts pvp competitions quizzes and more. There are also special things like an Ender Dragon launch event a Christmas treasure hunt a winter build competition and a Christmas themed quiz night.
Players can use a shopping district at spawn to trade and build up an economy. There are community challenges like snow themed builds and photo contests so people always have something fun to do. The founders and staff are active and hang out in voice calls a lot so it feels like a social place instead of just another random server.
It is still classic Minecraft with a semi vanilla style plus some quality of life improvements and optional client mods. The server is made for people who want a warm place to play survive and build with others during winter.
