GoblinSMP is a true vanilla survival server where the gameplay stays simple. I saw that it does not use plugins that change how the game works. There are no land claims and nobody is going to hold your hand.
The main rule is no hacking. After that it is all up to the players. You can build anything you want. You can team up with people or start wars or just explore and live far out in the wild.
It feels like a player driven world where the story comes from whatever everyone decides to do next. If you want chaos or community or just pure survival it is your choice.
